In line for Flight of Fear I saw a girl looking at herself in the mirror and she said I have a feeling that we are being watched. :P

A case of an employee saying the darnest thing... Around 1pm, on a rather busy day, a deer was running through the park, close to where Diamondback is now. A security officer happened to see this, ke

Saturday while going up the lift hill for The Beast, someone saw WindSeeker, all lit up, and said "Isn't that where Drop Zone is? I guess they decided to switch the ride up a little" .. as you can see Drop Tower in the distance beside it.

During my "Cedar Fair Park Tour" this summer, I don't think I went to a single park without hearing some crazy story about "The" Son of Beast and the reason that it is closed.

While waiting for Hot Blooded to start someone noticed WS going up and said, "look at those fireworks going off by WS."

They were confusing the light package for fireworks. I can see this mistake happening at first, but I am not sure if they ever realized they were just lights?

I was going up the lift hill on Adventure Express and the lady infront of my turned around and asked us if it used to be a water ride.

^ Did you look at her and say yes but we are in a drout right now so it's doesn't have water right now put it's still a good ride though.

My last trip i didnt even make it 10 feet from my truck before i herd some crazy story how peple died on SOB but luckily i didnt hear anything else for the rest of the day.

Maybe this should be posted under "guest do some really $h!@#$ things"

I don't know what you all call the electric chair guy in Coney Mall, but Friday night everything was fine, but today I noticed some "guest"(insert expletive here) peeled off all of the outer skin/plastic covering on his left hand leaving only the inner foam.

I was at CP with my cousin and his girlfriend (yeah, 3rd wheel is not fun) and she asked "How much did it cost for them to get all this sand for the beach? It must be expensive!"

I saw that, too, when I went. Must be a pimply faced rite of passage.

At CP a guy was trying to impress his friends said "The reason Iron Dragon is closed, is because a car flew off into the lagoon." This was said in a place in which both train 1 and 2 were visible.

Over at another forum someone created a topic that said Diamondback May Be Shutting Down. Now that was funny.

Diamondback will be shut down for approximately 5 1/2 months after this weekend. They will even remove the trains from the track.

Because someone fell off and drowned in the splash down, right?

Nope, this is preplanned by the park. It's not the first time they have done it either.

You can't be serious. It must be sinking or something...

While i was at my Haunt maze exit, a lady asked me what color The Racers coaster was. I told her that it was white. Which it is. But i thought it was a crazy question.

On my normal routine, I get home from school and check on Kings Island Central. I clicked on this thread, not really knowing what it was, and when I read this I swear, I think I died a little inside.

Now I just realized it says "5 1/2 months after this weekend". That's not even during season, and it's not real! Hah!

In line for Beast yesterday there was a teenage couple in front of me. The girl in the couple had never ridden The Beast before, so her boyfriend was telling her about it. He was pretty accurate until he said, "This was like the first coaster that they had here at Kings Island."

File this under Ride Ops Say the "Darnest" Things...

My first time going up on Eiffel Tower yesterday (I went up twice), the ride op said "Enjoy your time here today because this is the last day of the season. The park will reopen on April 30th of next year." First of all, the 2012 operating calendar hasn't been released yet. Secondly, April 30th is a Monday next year, and it's highly unlikely that opening day would be on a Monday. I was oh so close to telling him this but I didn't.

While in line for Massacre Manor Saturday, a couple who had a few too many drinks asked me which haunts I preferred. After telling her about Urgent Scare and Tombstone TERROR-tory (don't judge) they asked which one was in the queue line for The Beast.

I sighed.

At the end of riding The Beast, the lady in front of me said to her friend, "it only had one hill". I was thinking seriously did u sleep through that ride lady?

well...... i wish that the season was still going on so i can hear more funny things.... but if anyone still has any that they never shared yet please do since it was always enjoyable reading these.

One guy at BB told me i was "cutting the line" when i was in line for a different slide than him, the lifegaurd backed me up in the issue, saying that i was in the right and that i was in the other line for a different slide. The reason for this thinking was that he was standing for the left, when i simply went in the opposite end, on which it was not the cutting of the line, in which he was still offended. I will never forget that saying "Young man, young man, you cut the line!" funny days of BB and the lifegaurd on duty was the best!

There really is only one big steep hill.

Can't wait for my first visit, to hear a bunch of crazy stories.

10 days till opening day!

i was thinking 2 hills one at first lift and one going into the big spin :-)

Technically The Beast has two lift hills, and the part after the second lift hill that goes into the helix would also be considered a hill by many.

I experienced two of these today...

1. While sitting in line for Beast I heard a girl ask her mother if they had a Diamondback at Cedar Point too. This girl was probably mid-teens.

2. We were towards the front of Drop Tower's line for the next load, and a girl behind us said that they would have a seat close to the front.
