Have you conquered PKI?

Featured Replies

Thanks to Bill, on November 7th I can say I have ridden everything in the park. The last ride that I had to ride was Slingshot and it was much better than I thought it would be.

Anybody else ridden everything in the park? If not, what have you yet to ride?

Everything except for rides with height and weight limits that only children can ride.

I conquered the park some time in October when I rode Slingshot for the first time.

Everything but Days of Thunder(Go Karts), Sling Shat and Xtreme Skyflyer.

I am missing the same things as PkiJake.

Not counting CDBB (I hate water parks), I claimed PKI the same day Dane did with our ride on SS!

Still wishing I was in that boat! ;)

As soon as I ride the new ride each year, I conquer the park again. I've ridden everything each year ever since I've been tall enough to ride everything.

Everything but

A ) Sling Shot

B ) The parking lot tram (cause employees walk)

C ) Wipeout Beach, or whatever the surfing thingy in CDBB is now called.

Oh, I am definately doing the boat next year. I'm hoping that Ryan Nathan and Dane will do it also. If Ryans girlfriend doesnt go, we will need another person!

Come on guys! Lets make PKI Bobsledding History!!! April 8, 2005 (if Thornberries is open).

All I have left is FoF, Duhlee, DZ and Skycoaster. Slingshot is awesome! If anybody needs that credit, and is willing to ride it with a stranger, just let me know!

:censored: She's not my girlfriend!

Sorry. I didn't know that. I thought she was.

As author of The Unofficial Guidebook to Paramount's Kings Island and a freelance writer, I have ridden every single ride at PKI - except for Coolangata Racer. D'oh! I'll hit that one next year.

Have a great off season!

I have riden every single ride at PKI except for Slingshot and Xtreme Skyflier. Got to ride Days of Thunder at past P&G days when P&G rented it out and made it free. Unfortunatly, they did not do that this year, but instead made Slinshot and Days of Thunder reduced prices.

Are you insane? It will be fricking cold outside....oh....wait...thats the point, isnt it!?

The parking lot tram? Thats a rough one! When you ride it, make sure you sit in the middle as not to sit over a wheel! ;)

If you are going to be in the Bobsled Team, you have got to be able to handle it!

We start out with a ride on The Beast, to get warmed up. Then we go to Delirium - cause no non-delirius person would ever ride Thornberries in 40 degree weather. Then its off to Wild Thornberries River Adventure. After Bobsled Practice (if we don't capsize and increase the 2005 death toll by 5 before the season even starts), its off to Son of Beast for the cool down cycle. Then a ride on Zephyr to dry off, and a final ride on The Beast to relax.

Overall, its a grueling routine. Lunch is typically after Delirium, at the Mandarin Cuisine. There may or may not be a second, third, fourth and fifth lunch - depending on whether or not there is a hungry reverend-chef in your group. :chef: ;)

Well if you can handle it, its really fun. Just let me know if you're up to it! :cowboy:

Slingsh*it, errr, Slingshot is even better if you have someone who will rock the ball with ya.

Conquered the park well over 11 times.

Are you guys afraif of Sling Shot or Skycoaster? Those are the two biggest thrills in the park. I would highly reccommend that you ride them. I rode them both several times this year. They are exhillarating

Heck yeah, those are by far the funnest rides in the park but they are pay as you play attractions.

Not only have I ridden everything in the hard park, but I have also worked every ride up to 2002 (my last season in rides). This includes Cobra, KCKC, Scooters, Tiques (north and south), old Beast, old OL, Climbing structure, the Fantastic Flume, etc.
