October 8, 201213 yr I thought this would be a fun question to ask. Basically, Whats the fastest time you've ever made it to Kings Island? Fastest time I've ever gotten there was 30 minutes for 26 miles.
October 8, 201213 yr 40 minutes. I basically take 48 almost all the way to Kings Island, getting on the highway for about a minute.
October 8, 201213 yr About 1-1.5 hours. As much as I'd like to get there faster, I'd like much more not to get pulled over in Xenia, Waynesville, or Lebanon.
October 8, 201213 yr When I worked at the park, I lived in Wilmington. It usually took about 45 minutes to get there....I got there in 25 minutes, just in time for work. Thankfully no cops were out and didn't get pulled over.
October 8, 201213 yr 50-60 minutes total. The first 5 minutes of the route I take southward from Beavercreek to KI goes eastward, on US 35 E. Then an exit is taken to US 42 S, where the majority of the travel time is spent (about 30 minutes), then a left turn on the junction to SR 48 S, which happens about 3-5 minutes after passing the former Der Dutchman restaurant in Waynesville. 5 minutes is spent on 48, then an exit is taken to I-71 S, where another 3 minutes is spent, then it takes 5-7 more minutes to exit 71 via Exit 25, turn left, pass Taco Bell and McDonald's right before turning right on Kings Island Dr., pass Harley-Davidson, Jimmy John's and Great Wolf Lodge, go through the parking lot gates, and then find a spot somewhere within the seemingly vast sea of asphalt and paint lines known simply as "Kings Island's parking lot" in front of the amusement park I call my second home, and also celebrating its 40th anniversary at the moment.
October 8, 201213 yr Takes about 2 hours and 40 minutes, give or take. The one time I tried to make it faster, I got a Blue Light Special from Ohio's Finest.
October 8, 201213 yr It takes me about 3hrs and 20min to get there. It really isnt that bad of a drive, but for some of you that live very close, it would be considered torturous.
October 8, 201213 yr When I lived in Kings Mills, it only took me 10 minutes to get to work at Kings Island.
October 8, 201213 yr 3 minutes 42 seconds from driveway to parking spot. I win. I'd like to say, "You Suck!" but that's just fantastic. 17minutes for us.
October 8, 201213 yr When I used to live a little closer to Dayton it was about 45 minutes to an hour, now it takes a hour and 45 minutes to two hours.

Same route for me, except I start on the west end of Xenia, so I go west on Main St./US 35 BR for about a mile before turning left onto the US 35 E bypass. Takes me about 40 to 45 minutes from driveway to parking spot.
October 8, 201213 yr 3 hrs 20 minutes by plane from vegas then 1hr drive to park. 33 minutes from downtown Yes never get pulled over in lebanon and those surrounding areas they will write you an incredible bill.
October 8, 201213 yr Now: About eight hours by car, from the South. Soon: About nine hours by car, from the East (closer, but more traffic).

October 8, 201213 yr Author For anyone wanting to know my rout I take 3. Get on 741 and just make a b-line all the way there. Or get into 75 until State rout 62 and follow that over to 741 and finish it off. Or our new favorite (Because of the new Jack in the Box) 75 all the way to the Mason exit.
