Where would I find you?

Featured Replies

Vortex or The Beast most likely. Those are my two favorite rides of all time at KI.

In the Festhaus, that's where I always go for a break.

If you went to KI right now, you wouldn't find me, as I'm not there. :P (Sorry, had to be a jerk about it. Serious answer now.)

Before 2012, you would have almost certainly found me in Rivertown. It's just where I ended up a lot of the time, particularly in 2008 (when I first started buying my own pass and rode The Beast a bajillion times) and 2011 (because The Crypt with the Inception score really grew on me.)

Since then, it's really hard to say. I ride Adventure Express and Racer a lot more than before, but I also find myself looking in the stores on International Street a lot more than I ever used to. I still love KI as much as ever, but for different reasons, as the changing reasons change where I usually go when I'm there. Heck, I even made it to the waterpark for the first time in about eight years this season.

This is kind of a creepy question...

I used to hang around The Crypt a lot. But now it's not the staple for me in Rivertown (for obvious reasons), so I rarely spend time in Rivertown, often times only to ride The Beast. I recently re-discovered the beauty of Adventure Express and the Coney Mall flats this past season, and you are most likely to see me in the general vicinity of those rides.

The Eiffel Tower or Soak City when it's open.

You'd be most likely to encounter me on a midway, since that's where you'd pass the most people. I'm guessing that I traverse the Coney Mall and Rivertown midways most, so I'll give those as my answer.

Or perhaps you wanted to know where in the park I could be found at most often. For me, that would probably be in the queue for The Beast, Firehawk, or Flight of Fear.

If you went to KI on a particular day, it would be unlikely that you would find me even if I also happened to be at the park. Such is the case when a majority of the day is spent in lines.

I'm on the move the whole time. Rather than criss-crossing the park, I like to just take stuff as I come to it, including rides, games, arcades, dining, and dinosaurs!

I'm at river town most of my day. I sit at the potato works watching the trains of Diamondback plummet down until the next hill. I ride the train frequently admiring the whistles and the "clickity clack" of the passenger cars which my grandpa and I both enjoyed. I also walk along the trails of white whatever canyon. On rare occasions you will see me at The Racer turn-arounds. I'm a strange person....

In the park! More than likely you'd find me in Rivertown at Diamondback or Beast. If I wasn't there, you'd find me at the back of Coney Mall.

Either at Diamondback or The Beast or somewhere in between the two. I spend most of the time there

I move really fast once I hit the park. Good luck with that.

I could most commonly be found waiting in line for The Beast or on The Beast. When I'm not in Rivertown, I like to get A bunch of rides in on Flight Deck.

Well I believe it would be quite hard to find within my favorite amusement park for many reasons...

1. I roam the park a lot and don't stay in the same place for very long.

2. I highly doubt any of you would beable to recognize me.

3. I am quite quiet.

Now if you want to find me...

1. If I were you, looking for me, I would hang out around x-base. Your bound to see me there at some point.

2. You'll find me on the nice big thrill rides, but I also have a eye (or stomach or what ever) for the less popular rides but are still exsepanal or what you might call the hidden jems of Kings Island.

3. I almost always wear soccer jerseys or polo shirts.

^its not really being direct, I'm more or less asking where you like to be frequently when you are at Kings Island.

Odds are you would find me at Coneys Island, and not at Kings Island. But when I am at Kings Island, I spend most of my time at The Beast and Diamondback.

^your not alone Original, I have failed to ride DB as well

*gasp* Thats one of THE WORSE statemens you can make on KICentral.

I've learned the hard way.

I'm not a wimp I've been just avoiding it, I'll gladly do front seat. I rode Sheikra front seat and even though its a 30ft difference, I think that's scarier than DB

For me, I hang out in Coney Mall most of the time, especially during the fall season when I'm power-riding/marathoning Vortex. I usually am at the end of the midway, riding either Vortex or WindSeeker. At the very beginning and end I'm usually in either Rivertown or Action Zone, occasionally stopping in Oktoberfest for at least one ride on Adventure Express.

-Trips with ERT always begin in Rivertown.

-Evening trips start out in Action Zone, so by the time I get to Diamondback, it is after dark (night ride!)

-Afternoon trips typically start out in Rivertown, but occasionally start in Action Zone (my Closing Day trip started in Action Zone, hint hint).

-If I want to hear carousel music or get an extended panoramic view of the park while in the middle of a trip, I would be located at the far end of International Street.

-If I'm not on/near WindSeeker or Vortex while I'm in Coney Mall, I'll either be at/near X-Base or taking pictures of Vortex at the overlook directly in front of 3-Point Challenge

My collaboration of time and locations always varies, because they rely directly on my strongest interests of rides, in which those interests can pop up or disappear at any time. Therefore, it may be a little "difficult" to locate me. ;)
