Shawn Meyer Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Is it just me, or does the track come out of the station and make a slanted turn? You guys know what I mean? What I mean is it comes straight out and makes the turn to the left, but instead of following the same straight line as the station, it's going away from that straight line to the right.

I have the pentagons best team trying to decipher what you just said. 7
The Interpreter Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 You, too? How can something that turned left not be going that way? Unless'n you mean politics! 6
TheCrypt Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I think he means a banked turn, or at least that's how I understood it.

I hope your joking.

No, I don't know what you mean. Maybe if we all make a joint effort in "decoding" this post as we did "Starting to decode 2014", then we can figure out which way Is left....or right.... ( I kind of had to... ) 3
PyroKinesis Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Okay, based on those pictures, I can see why some people would have an issue with the color of the track. 1
towerkid Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Okay, based on those pictures, I can see why some people would have an issue with the color of the track. When I was on the Eiffel Tower yesterday, all of Action Zone has something BLUE when it comes to the supports.....(Invertigo, Delirium, Flight Deck) now Banshee......and then from the light of the sun, it looks like Diamondback is being built with the color of the track.
TheCrypt Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Drop Tower and Congo Falls don't have blue.

Don't judge by the color of the coasters track but by the contents of their experience. 8

Some trickery is required to actually post a link. 1
Shawn Meyer Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 This is what I was trying to say. This is the station and this is the turn that I was imagining. ____________ C ____________

I think I know what you're talking about....if it the track will turn without banking, or if it'll turn without any change in "elevation" (don't know if that's the right term). I think you're asking if it will turn out of the station like Raptor does. 1
TheCrypt Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 This is what I was trying to say. This is the station and this is the turn that I was imagining. ____________ C ____________ This post made me even more confused than your first. 4
elyk Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 theres just a little dip and them an unbanked turn...

Shawn Meyer Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 chugh43, you got it right. That's what I was trying to ask. Sorry for the confusion everyone. 1
RailRider Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Semi on site and more pieces being unloaded this morning 3
medford Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 somewhere in this thread, or perhaps another, somebody asked if you would be able to see the ride from the highway. Driving home on friday, the 2nd set of supports on the lift hill, the ones they put up friday were visable from the highway (though w/o track you had to be looking for them, they don't quite jump out at you from 71 the way Diamondback does). I don't know how many sets of lift hill supports there will be, but as this thing grows, it clearly is going to be visable from 71 as you pass by the park. 7

RailRider Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 New flatbed, more track being unloaded now.

myklhicks Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I'm liking the front gate webcam right now. 1
calakapepe Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Part of me thinks this maroon car relates to this topic.. -- Anyways, has anyone been able to see lift supports being put up? I can't make it out?
Dom497 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 ^Doesn't look like any track or supports were put up today judging from the webcams.
razmataz99 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Part of me thinks this maroon car relates to this topic.. -- Anyways, has anyone been able to see lift supports being put up? I can't make it out? There is one lift support up, unless you were referring to any new supports being put up today. 1
