Banshee Construction Progress

Remember how Face\Off became a very muted, nearly light pink and faded yellow muddle?

I'd rather start out with a deep reddish orange if pronounced fade is in The Bat's future.

We did not mention all the statistics during the announcement because statistics are not what make a roller coaster great; it's the ride experience it delivers that makes it great.

  • It's good to see me, isn't it? No need to respond! That was rhetorical. Under 30 days until Banshee makes its public debut! We can't wait for you to come out and experience this ride.

We have guests that are more excited about our live shows than our roller coasters, that visit the park specifically for the shows. For these guests, the Cirque Imagine announcement was as exciting as

Those were my thoughts exactly. And, this is why there should be very little concern for the Banshee and it's "mystic red". It will no doubt turn into "hazy purplish" within a few seasons!

I'm predicting that, some day in the future, Banshee will be the prettiest baby pink and powder blue coaster you've ever seen!

Here in Miamisburg, it will not stop snowing! I shoveled the driveway and when I finished, another inch of snow had already fallen on it! I thought that snow would not mealt anytime soon on the webcam!

feel bad for the construction crew over the next week or so.... some REAL crappy weather headed this way with daytime highs of ZERO.

is there a temperature where they effective halt work till another day?

This is why all the concrete footers were poured early in the offseason, so they wouldn't have to worry about this weather halting construction! If Don's timeline holds, another few weeks and all the track will be assembled.

.....Yes.....Another......

so darn beautiful!!!

also really feeling it would be awesome since they're going with a cemetary theme, if they put a mosoleum/tunnel at the bottom of the pretzel loop... yes im calling it a pretzel loop, you want a batwing go see Vortex. :P and then play the Banshee scream in there so its not too annoying to people in the line and adds a cool effect for the riders. just a thought

^^^ Thanks for posting the batwing photo. My initial thought was "I thought it would look taller" until I saw the two guys standing on the lower left hand side of the photo. Amazing!

Kings Island calls it a batwing. Therefore, a batwing it must be.

It is fitting to have a batwing when it's next to The Bat.

I feel bad for the workers in the snow. I love that PR is showing pics, though. This is an amazing looking ride.

This ride is going to be so frightening, especially the first drop. I can't wait.

Be that as it may, there is still an undoubtedly small, but clear difference between our "batwing" and other batwings. Which is why I call it a pretzel knot regardless of what the official status is by KI.

Before I get the response of "Who cares?!?"

The answer is, "some people"

The designer calls it a Batwing, therefore so does the park.

Don: Always burning people. hahaha.

Just kidding around.
