Banshee? pssshh.....whats next?

Featured Replies

World longest invert, blah blah blah... old news. Since its never too early to speculate, I'm wondering what new ride at KI or CP will be. Ohio is lacking a floorless and a dive coaster. KI doesn't even have a intamin coaster. So what do you think will be coming to the buckeye state next

Seriously?

LordSkippy, picking up distinctly bad vibrations from this topic.

I would had thought that the next thread of "what new ride will we get next" would be at least a couple years later. But I guess I was wrong. It is like a kid asking their father, "Daddy, when are we getting a new car? said the kid. In which the father replied, "Son, I just bought a new car."

Take a few people with you so the lines for Banshee won't be so big.

Well to answer your question about what's next is. We still have 2014 and beyond to enjoy our new Banshee. In all honesty I believe this is going to throw Diamondback out of my top spot for best ride at KI. But who knows? Where are those pesky cranes?

Well, this truck is on its way to the construction site of the world's largest, animatronic facepalm...

No need to be rude about it, guys...

Curses for not being able to tell if that sarcasm or not

I'm hoping that it won't be another 5 year gap between roller coasters, so maybe a new coaster in 2017. But push that back to 2018 if we get a new flat ride of sorta between coasters. Kinda hope for an Intamin next in order to change it up some...BUT ONLY if they get their act together and can have less downtime!

Large Ferris Wheel : 2015 Rumor. I'm starting it now...

If it looks like CP's at night I'm down for it

In all seriousness, it'll likely be something so innovative, we haven't seen even prototypes yet.

I am on team giga lol

A family spinning coaster or wild mouse is a good idea. Small footprints and reliable rides.

Well, as it appears this is becoming a legitimate discussion thread for some reason, I'm going to say some kind of woodie.

<a href="http://s362.photobucket.com/user/x241/media/2019ki.png.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i362.photobucket.com/albums/oo63/x241/2019ki.png" border="0" alt=" photo 2019ki.png"/></a> i already posted this before on the starting to decode thread, they will reuse the Son of Beast station and build a giga coaster and use the remaining space behind the Banshee...

Here's what they will do.

1. Build a ride similar to Divertigo by Banshee

2. Send Congo Falls to Knotts

3. Send Invertigo to VF or KD

4. Build a small spinning coaster or Eurofighter in the void left by the two rides

I'm sure Don gets tired of saying this, so I will give him a break

The former SOB station will be used for a Haunt attraction this year and beyond.

I would like to see a handful of good-ole fashioned carnival rides, something that KI is seriously lacking.

A discussion about "what's next" happens after every major announcement, but this thread started on a rather bad note. Perhaps we could continue in another thread?

If it weren't for the way the OP worded his initial post, I'd be more willing to seriously consider responding to his question. But come on, "blah blah blah...old news" - ??? Steel isn't even rising from the footers yet, and Banshee is already "old news". Give me a freakin' break. With this kind of attitude, I hope KI goes 10 more years before we see a new coaster. Some people can be so darned spoiled.

Sorry....not in the mood for reading this kind of nonsense.
