Okay, you engineers, artists, mechanics, electricians, enthusiasts and artisans from around the sphere of all disciplines: let the educated conjecture begin!

What do you think we've been doing?

Best guess with current clues, blueprints, and CF's past stated goal to replace SOB with RMC:

Cool video! Quick question, though: when did CF ever state an intent to replace Son of Beast?

More specifically with an RMC?

Personally I felt like the motor block looks like it is for a chain lift.

But in the diagram the motor connects to something on the right hand side of the track. A lift is usually in the center of the track unless they need 2 chains.

So, I was thinking. In the classic game of Monopoly, when investing in a property's value (to generate higher revenue), players must exchange four smaller structures in order to place the large structure on that property. This is in the form of four little, green "houses," which are replaced by one large "hotel." That concept remains one of the most ingenious, yet educational rules of any game ever invented, as it parallels the reality of progress in the realm of economics.

That being said, the original Funnel Cake stand (and its adjacent patio) is one little, green house. Pray tell, do you suppose that perhaps the Kings Island & Miami Valley Rail Road might represent another such "small" token? How about Whitewater Canyon?" ...just another angle from which to enrich the decoding fun that is this remarkable thread (and even more remarkable community)!

Umm No. This isn't CP or SF. They won't get rid of two extremely popular family rides just for another coaster no matter how awsome it is. A major park without a train and Rapids ride? Not gonna happen.

How do you guys feel about the name "Demon Diesel?"

Reminds me of the yahoos with their "Coal Rollers".

The only part which needs centered is the chain itself the motor would not be. It is hard to see except in the out of focus overhead view but the gap is centered under the track.

Also it looks like the rails are a foot wide according to the text for the motor block diagram.

All the city of Mason gets is the foundation design. The rails do not attach directly to the concrete.

Forgot about most of it but the scarecrow and fence. But still, think this one is being teased more. Earlier than the 2013 tease. Then again I dont remember when the tease started for Banshee.

What has KI done that's been teasing for this ride, again a few signs, maybe a few posts on Snapchat or Twitter? We are the one making mountains from mole hills.

3 years later... did everyone forget another CF park in Missiouri has a wood coaster with Timber in it? KI wouldnt need to refile a TM for a ride already in another CF park would they? (If they go that route instead of using a new name)

Dollywood mechanics has no experience with launched rides...

*Cough Cough* Firechaser Express *Cough* Though it's not the mechanic's fault it's down *Cough Cough*

Comparing a tire propelled launch to an electrical launch. Nice try.

A) This post was made a long long time ago so the relevance for now is called into question

B) I'm not saying that I agree with the aforementioned statement, as this project has had a lot more social media interaction, but pointing out one occurrence (which had a similar occurrence with the prior teasing) does not really help the case of this having the same or more teasing.

NO ONE is stating anything as NONE of us know exactly what is going on. GavPenn has mentioned why he thinks it will be an RMC but there is nothing to guarantee that. I think the Coaster Net video was the best way of informing us what certain parts of the blue prints mean. Until we see construction and further plans/hints all we know is about the highlighted area of work.

As Terp would say "those who know don't talk, and those who talk don't know." or something like that.

I would be pleasantly surprised if we got an Intamin Prefab wooden coaster. Intamin tho may not be in the best relations with Cedar Fair has a good track record ( in terms of safety and reliability ) with their prefab woodie lineup. And from the reviews they are all fantastic and just as smooth as steel. The El Toro has held the #1 spot for the woodie category in the Golden ticket awards and Mitch Hawkers Best Rollercoaster poll. ( if that means anything ).

From looking at the plans can any tell what the height and the length it might be. And as for the name how about Woodstock Express XL.
