Leaked Shipping Plans Show Holiday World to Receive a Vekoma Family Boomerang in 2024

Recommended Posts

I say great for Holiday World!  It's been 9 years since Thunderbird.

Did someone from Holiday World discretely but purposely put this info out?  Otherwise I don't see how it was leaked if it was legally discovered.

Finally, it's ironic that an address on Critendon Dr. In Louisville is mentioned as KK is right off that  road.

Same here, and no; this was taken from ImportGenius, which with what I've heard, also makes sense.

That is true, I didn't even notice that as I rushed to post this.

A boomerang?  Maybe  since it a family coaster it will be a fun layout?

I thought the same thing before I realised what it was; they're pretty popular outside of the US from what I've seen and I have only heard about them a small amount.

I'm not sure the layout, but going off of the current layouts of family boomerangs it will probably have a helix and the normal two spikes (if you can call them that considering the one hill doesn't have a catch car lift).

I'm glad someone else is saying this, because I've always thought Screamscape "rumors" and "leaks" out of Holiday World were a little too specific to be picked up by most enthusiasts, let alone the general public. Nobody's watching chain theme parks that closely--and as great as Holiday World is, I have a hard time believing anyone is watching them even more closely.

I doubt this was leaked by the park, people really do monitor this information, but you’re wrong about what was being monitored.  Also Screamscape is not where it was originally posted, it had already been making the rounds on other sites before Screamscape reported anything.  This is also not even the first one from Vekoma that someone caught in the past year.  It appears the Nashville Zoo is getting a dueling Vekoma family Boomerang that has also not been announced yet.

I want to show just how easy this is, and this is literally how this was originally found.  https://www.importgenius.com/suppliers/vekoma-rides-manufacturing-bv

People are not watching the park, they watch the manufacturers, and where they are making shipments.  As of right now item 10 on the shipments page is a 48,870 kg shipment to the Nashville Zoo…

Shipment number 1 the most recent shipment was made to Koch development, it’s a little light at only 2,670 kg so no way it’s the ride itself, but this shipments marks and numbers listed is “VEKOMA REF: VRM-23-411 PROJECT: FAMILY BOOMERANG ROLLER COASTER”.

Got to love coaster manufacturers who make it that easy.

Man @Kenban why don't you tell us how you feel, four times over :)

seriously, though..

my point was the word "leaked".  Coaster enthusiasts tend to be a little dramatic, and you point that out. The information can be obtained if you know where to look.  It's enthusiast " influencers" who spread this fake crap...and use ALL CAPS to get clicks.

It turns out if you get an error message when you submit a post, and it does not show up, it does not mean it will not show up later.

I even submitted a report after I could not find a way to delete the messages myself, and got an error message.

Just giving you a hard time!

Got it cleaned up. Some guy who goes by IndyGuy keeps filling the server up with more pictures in the KIC galleries. Plans are being made to build a new server with everything upgraded with more space. Not a hard task for @malem just time consuming.

Back on topic, I think after looking at some of others it will be a good addition to the park, but I usually not a big fan of non full circuit coasters.
