I’m no wood coaster engineer but it looks like Renegade’s toast if it’s sat in water that long
Taylor.B03
If the flooding would just recede before this park becomes six flags park, we should be good. Otherwise, well... we know how that went.

It can actually be operated with minor flooding, it’s just this is a little too high.

silver2005
Hershey and Knoebels flood all the time and their wooden coasters in those areas prone to flooding are still doing good.
johnjniehaus
The wooden coasters at Coney were under water plenty of times and came back so I think the coasters at valleyfair are probably going to be ok. It's just wild to me that I was there on June 19 and nothing was flooded to now according to my friend who lives up there even the parking lot has flooded to the point that people have had to park elsewhere and get bussed in.
PKIDelirium
Certainly not the first time this has happened at VF. Renegade was designed with additional flood protection by GCI, including slab foundations in the flood areas. Excalibur is also a wood structure and has been dealing with floods since well before Renegade existed. Obviously the rapids ride isn't a concern, unless they didn't have the rafts secured...
