I wonder also if they are going to change the loading station back or similar to how to how it was when it was Phantom Theater I think Boo Blasters lacks in the theming with that.

That was my speculation. I believe someone later commented that 2023 was originally a Soak City expansion. However, there's no way to know for sure what the original 2023 plan was pre Adventure Port.

Yes there is no way to tell but I do wonder considering that PT encore I think was sort of a test to see if the fanbase was still around - and it was

There's a lot of stuff left over in the load/unload area from Phantom Theater if you know what you're looking for. You can still see the baseboard, the chair rail, near the bottom of the windows; the picture rail, just below the top of the windows; the pillars; and some of the architectural flourishes on the pillars. The wallpaper also appears to still be above the picture rail, although it looks like someone took a can of dark paint to it.

Bringing this look back to the loading/unloading station and to the queue line would do so much to help set the new attraction apart from BBoBH. The wall sconces, chandeliers, and the curtain in particular help convey how grand the theater once was. The theater is preparing to reopen, so why not make some of it look really nice?

If there's one really simple thing I'd like to see come back it's the curtains dividing the scenes. The chandeliers (I know of at least one that still exists outside the park) and some good animatronics will help too.

I'm still working on it, but please enjoy my take on the diagram for Phantom Theater's layout. Any of the split scene numbers (like 13A / 13B) indicate the change for SCatHC and BBoBH. I think I should split one more scene, but I can't remember which it should be.

I absolutely love this! I can tell a lot of time and effort went into making this. Also does it say the Maestro would also be at the end after you get off the ride? If so then that would be really cool!:)

This one was just a recreation of the original layout! The "Maestro III" scene is just where he says "You'll be back..." as guests exit the attraction. I've also got a version with the Boo Blasters scenes. My sense of space and direction are normally really good, even when watching a space in a video, but something about either the original PT POV or the BBoBH POV have me all turned around whenever it gets to scenes 6-8.

I'm working on a separate version (hopefully with better linework and more detail) to show what I think would be cool for PT:ON!

Anybody at the park today? Wonder how the lines are for Boo Blasters?

I’ve been marathoning it since 9:30 lol, I went on a walk on at park opening, then waiting 60 minutes immediately after, and then it’s been steadily around a 25-35 minute wait for most of the day. But crowds are starting to pick up now, the fastlane is out to the bridge which I’ve never seen before. The accessibility line at the exit to the ride also stretches outside, which is what I’ve seen as the main source slowing down the line.

But like if you’re debating on wanting to come to the last rides tonight uhhhh…. It’s crowded! 200+ minutes. Go away! Run!

Crazy! My wife and I made it on in about a half hour (80 min posted wait). Good to see this one getting a proper send off. Been on the PT train since the ride closed in ‘02 and was at the opening for Scooby, but I won’t lie. Little sad to see this one go, but am thrilled for what’s coming.

Do the extra ride vehicles still? I know two were put in front of the KI Theater for the encore show.

Half the original buggies were removed after Phantom Theater closed. Those sat outside in the graveyard for the longest time. Not sure when they all disappeared but they are long gone.

New temporary queue space for BBOBH has been added. The line now starts by the entrance to the Peanuts Showplace and winds its way up to the castle.

I was there yesterday and the extended queue was there as well. I waited roughly 50 minutes

I definitely remember them being around. Maybe behind Delirium? Might’ve been the old antique cars.

I’d guess they were used for parts since ‘03? Might be why they’ve seemingly vanished?

I got my last ride ever on Boo Blasters on Boo Hill tonight! It was about 6:30 when I got in line (just past the Meet n' Greet sign is and where Snoopy's Dog House used to be), and then proceeded to get on the ride at about 7:33. The roughly one hour of waiting was worth it for me. I was then out of the exit around 7:40, where I was able to snap one last shot of the BBoBH ride information sign. I wonder if they'll just put a new sticker over it for next year or if we'll see a new one produced. Six Flags might want to begin re-standardizing their ride info signage across all of their parks if they want to start looking like one singular company.

My first blaster in my car would make the targets register that they'd been hit, but wouldn't show the point totals adding up. I switched to the blaster on the right pretty quickly and I'll tell you what, it worked perfectly! I was able to hit every target that I was able to aim at. My attempts to hit most of the targets in the big living room didn't work out so well, though.

I'd assume that if the old ride vehicles that were taken out are no longer around then more could be produced, but that might be a bit much if they're not going to do much to the ride system itself.
