Set closing times

No.

I am actually surprised that Kennywood would do that. As a customer, I paid for the hours that a particular park has scheduled. With the excecption of "Acts of God" (major power outage, severe weather, etc.) a park should remain open. I am not insulting Kennywood in any way, but if they would close because of lack of attendance, that is their fault for not marketing the slow days properly, they should not punish the guests that did come.

I have known that Cedar Point has actually stayed open longer (midnight) because of too many guests on a particular day, or a ride has been down for a good portion of the day (TTD and MF), and I'm sure that PKI has either done the same or at least considered this.

It's really not what you think... I mean, I think the earliest they close is 10. If the park is still rockin' at 10, they stay open until 11 or so.

It's interesting how they do it too, they simply start shutting down rides and people know it's time to go. They're the masters of the whole "Thank you for coming, now get the hell off my property" concept. At PKI, people would stick around until escorted out.

That would be hard to do considering the Ohio Minor Labor Laws Restrictions, Not IMPOSSIBLE, just tougher to do sometimes.

Remember just cause the park closes at 10, doesn't mean the employees get out then, I usually get out an hour to hour and half AFTER closing, and I'm on a super easy shut down ride!

I actully like the idea of a set closing time, so that way you will have people know the exact time the park will close. What i do want PKI to do is that i know at Cedar Point they close the lines at closing, for example the park closes at 10, you get in line for Millennium Force at 9:59 and the line is say 2 hours. They wont cut off the line even if it is midnight when you get on. I know the KI policy unless it changed is that they will close the lines so it clears by 10, is this still true?

I was at Kennywood this summer and the park was open till 2 in the morning. I got to ride also all the rides but when it got late alot of people come from work to the park. The park is different that you have to buy tickets or a all day pass to ride the rides. Its cheep just to get into and the people are very nice. The coaster are great but small. The longest coaster line was for the Jack Rabbit that day. I think Kings Island should have some of the rides in the park. It was nice to ride Ski Lab again and also the Tumble Bug. They have some very nice flats like 360 you guys would like it.
