Phantom Theater: Opening Nightmare Reviews
CedarPointer replied to IndyGuy4KI's topic in Kings Island
I have a suspicion they're rewiring them or something when the buttons break. Maybe they already ran out of replacements. The flashlights, especially the buttons, seem extremely flimsy for something used by hundreds of guests per day, so it doesn't seem like a surprise that they're not lasting even a year. - Today

Of all the screens the furnace seems to be the one that usually is not working. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. As far as the flashlights, I have never had one "auto shine". That being said, this encarnation of PT seems to be more inviting to younger riders and maybe their hands are not big or strong enough to reach the button let alone hold it. I think having the flashlights on constantly would be a good move for the ride.

KK is adding more to their Fall pumpkin event and utilizing their empty lazy river to showcase 5000 artist hand carved pumpkins

Furnace heat was working which is nice although tv screen was not, not sure if this is new or not but the first time I rode, I didn’t even have to hold any of the flashlight button down as they lit up by themselves without me needing to do anything the second time I rode even when you don’t hit the flashlight if you shine it, it will still get your points so it’s almost as if hitting the button it’s just for show. I also noticed a lot of new music throughout the ride, which is cool.

If you’re into history, Cahokia Mound isn’t too far away. It’s the remnants of the largest indigenous ancient city north of Mexico. -

I was going to be spontaneous in KC, but I just found a jazz museum in KC, so I'll probably do that and maybe bits around Union Station. Also, on the way in, I'll be going out of my way voicing my displeasure in the direction of Arrowhead Stadium on behalf of Bengals' fans. -

I should also mention while my pass did work at MIA, I still brought 2 printed receipts of my pass renewal and FL for use at SFStL and WoF just in case. -

St Louis style pizza is also on the docket. I'm hesitant on the gooey butter cake. -

It’s indeed a much better drive as far as geographic points of interest. Plus, you could make a detour to Holiday World lol… Enjoy the KC bbq! -

That's the way I'll be coming back to Cincy, which, seems nice since that'll be from Branson. -
There's a bit early in the FoF video that mentions the whole UFO set up as a teaser for an amusement park.

So after reviewing weather and Arch availability, here is the itinerary for St Louis- Friday- Botanical Gardens (rainiest day but at least no T-storms, plus Arch is sold out) Saturday- Hoping the rain in the morning scares people away and doing SFStL Sunday- Arch and City Museum (kind of a good thing as this is the hottest day) Going for some BBQ tonight. -

I really like FoF. Actually, I like FoF after they removed over the shoulder restraints. Very nice theming as well as funny queue video. I once had a rollback on KI FoF. -

It is indeed very, very boring. I64 to I71 is much more interesting of a drive. You get all the southern Indiana/Northern Kentucky hills. -
What do you mean?

Upon reading this post another time, this feels ripped from the FoF queue video script...

So I got my work cut out for me in terms of driving around St Louis. It's way more dense than I anticipated and I'm on the opposite side of town from SFStL. -

I am not sure if SFoG would be an option with Twisted Cyclone there. AF1 is much better coaster but so similar. My guess is that parks with RMC would not consider this. Only difference being AF1 being a ground up RMC so that there is a uniqueness about it. Other retrofit RMCs are very similar to each other. -

Allegedly, management from SFOG went to assess ArieForce One to see if they could relocate it, but it was a no-go. The person who said this alleged they heard this from a family member of the park president, so take this with a huge grain of salt. -

One place that may have some flat space is Carowinds. Other Funspot parks do not have space, I think. Orlando location does not have space. Maybe Kissimmee location back parking lot could be an option. SeaWorld? I am not sure if BGT can do this.
