I was thinking the same thing, I think its from the original ride que. I'm surprised the other ones weren't there with it, well as I can see. Nonetheless I'm glad the Maestro bust is back! 🙂

It was simply an observation on the changing scene in the media business, not an argument or disappointment....or whatever you edit your post to say....

That's one thing I was trying to listen for in the POVs and I couldn't seem to hear music over all the riders excessive talking

I have but one thing I wish from this ride- A reprisal of the original's music. That music went hard for the early 90s. Plus the inspiration it took from Bach and ALW's music was nice, too. I'll take a clever nod to Phantom of the Opera as well for aesthetics.

I have to say, from what I have seen online this really looks like a high quality dark ride Kings Island added, congratulations to the team that got it done. I just hope they budget for yearly maintenance on it and guest respect the theming elements.

The good news is no matter where you are in the park, you don’t have to walk far to get chicken tenders.

I feel like this is kind of standard for the park at this point. If nothing has changed in terms of the meal plan meals then I wouldn't be surprised if they just keep the 2025 list up. I also wouldn't be surprised if we see some quality issues in printed/digital materials. Canada's Wonderland just released their 2026 map that still had the color palette for Daredeviller in squares next to the ride. I've also noticed that CW and Carowinds have started to use Futura as the font for ride names on their maps, while Great Adventure and Kings Dominion are using the Seoge UI Variable font (I'm pretty sure that's what it is from my research).

I'm happy to see that the mods of the pass group got invited to media day seeing they were basically pushed away over the last couple of years by a certain individual that doesn't work at the park anymore. That's a good step 1 in restoring relationships. Step 2 would be inviting 2 certain podcasters to an event.

I'm just curious if they actually open it at the start of early rides like Cedar Point does/did for the breakfast at Grand Pavilion. It'd be nice, considering French Corner is the only place that consistently has fresh drink plan coffee. Hopefully it's also open more consistently... felt like it was barely open last year.

I haven't seen one -- seeing the videos, they all appear to have similar edits and camera placement, so I'm wondering if KI provided some footage and also gave guidance as to what could be shown.

Been my favorite off season thread to date. Can’t believe we’re already at opening day.

I'll be there on Aug 7th! Been twice before and it's a park that everyone should visit at least once. It's not polished or new and flashy but it's get a cool roadside vibe of decades past and as Don pointed out in this article the Big Dipper is worth the visit as is the rare gravity pretzel haunted house (arguably my favorite ride in the park).
