  1. Today
  2. Well, that should definitely provide a boost to Q1’s revenue (assuming the volume of memberships is there)
  3. I have to say, one underrated part of the CP layout is when you're circling clockwise on the loop, as you pass the Magnun station, there's that added sense of busyness after the quiet walk through Frontiertown that's underrated.
  4. Per usual, SteVe, Raptor, MF, Magnum and GK are running sooooo goood. Glad to report Blue Streak running well. No Maverick or Mine Ride. Siren is having hiccups.
  5. Yes, it will be continuous and you are paying for months the park is closed. The benefit is the payment is spread over those months instead of condensed, so the monthly is less.
  6. A day at a theme park and a Travis Tritt concert? Wild Adventures is giving visitors both during its Celebrate America Festival. The country music legend headlines the park’s summer concert series, adding live entertainment to a destination already packed with rides, animals, and water park fun. 7. Alpenfury clone please.
  8. What I would like to see is a multi-inversion, multiple launch coaster in The Vortex plot of land for 2027.
  9. Well, in all fairness, Universal probably doesn't take away benefits you paid for with no notice, so that's one difference.
  10. I’ve read the description of memberships, but I’m still unclear on one thing—are they continuous? Do you pay monthly every month without any sort of break between seasons? (Meaning if my home park was KI I’d still pay in Jan/Feb/March?). If so, this doesn’t sound a lot different than my Universal Orlando pass—I pay monthly, then at the end of year I get an email saying that my 12 month rotation is coming to an end but if I don’t want to change anything about my AP it will just continue uninterrupted (usually with a slight monthly $ increase of course…). However, the primary difference is that Universal (barring a hurricane) is open 365 days/year.
  11. The ONLY reason to eat anything at the park is the one is on the season dining plan. The food is horrible. The prices are outrageous. If one uses the dining plan enough I guess they get their moneys worth paying about four or five dollars a meal. it’s not even worth that though. Any fast food restaurant outside of the park is better. But unfortunately, this is the direction. Six Flags has decided to go. Cheap meal plans low quality, food and gouging anyone that’s not on the meal plan. It doesn’t seem like a very good business plan to me. Giveaway bad food to everyone that’s on the meal plan and then overcharge anyone that is an occasional visitor to the point they will be sure not to eat there again.
  12. Dollywood’s Splash Country is offering free admission on June 25 to guests who participate in the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson. The annual Water Safety Day event combines family fun with life-saving water safety education in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. 13. Yesterday
  14. So weather is looking both good and bad for Cedar Point. For both days, it looks pretty dry for the most part. The problem comes at night. I'm seeing rain chances at night, particularly Wednesday night. Could put a limit on night rides unfortunately. I really want to at least do MF at dusk and SteVe at night. If I can squeeze in Magnum, that'd be great, too.
  15. True. They should definitely be on entry doors. Exit doors are generally closed and shouldn’t need them as much.
  16. Extra protein and flavoring.😅
  17. Wonderland is now "sold out" (🙄) of season passes.
  18. Okay, that’s good to know because I’m currently in Virginia and going to Kings Dominion Tomorrow to Wednesday.
  19. But they suck at the burrito shack. Nothing like getting your food either blasted off your plate or blasted with concentrated microbes, hair, dead skin cells and other dust components.
  20. Last week
  21. Michigan's Adventure TR There are several purposes for me venturing to Muskegon first. First, its a nice relaxing start compared to when I go to Cedar Point. And in that regard, I like saving CP for last if I do either or both of MIA and Waldameer as doing CP first would kind of ruin the smaller park(s). Overall, the whole Muskegon part of my trip went about as smooth as I wanted, sans me not having the stomach to eat where I wanted Saturday night and then learning said place is closed on Sundays. I did at least get to the Lake Michigan beach as well as the park I always visit in the bay. As for Michigan's Adventure, I kept it pretty laid back. I stayed from 11-5 as I wanted to get a good sleep in before the stressful drive from Muskegon to Port Clinton. Mostly stayed with the coasters along with the flume and train. It was quite cool, so water rides weren't a priority, and the cooler weather kept crowds late until later, mainly as the water park did open despite said low temps and the crowds that were there were leaving around 3-4. Everything was walk-on all day, even the newly retracked Shivering Timbers and the coasters with 1 train ops (Mad Mouse had a wait, but I didn't ride it, the ops make you sit on the brake run forever). I did get Fast Lane just in case (have all season), but only used it a few times when ST got a bit of a line as the water park let out and for the flume. I only really ate some nachos and mostly drank water as I mainly opted to eat outside the park, and I knew initially I wasn't staying until close. Most of the rest I explained in previous posts, but I have more for the updated woodie reviews. Did get some good marathons on the 2 bigger woodies though. Ride count- Shivering TImbers- 8, Wolverine Wildcat- 6, Corkscrew- 3, Thunderhawk- 2, Zach's Zoomer- 1, flume and train- 1. Wolverine Wildcat feels like its gotten better with each of my visits. It has a bit of a mix of GCI Titan Track (mostly on the first drop) and patches of what I think is GG tracking. There's still bits that may need it, but its pretty comfortable overall. The last bunny hops could use a touch up at least. Shivering Timbers is an interesting case. From just before the crest of the 2nd hill through after the crest of the 3rd hill has RMC track, and the crest into the far turn until it drops for the return run has it, too. The first half is much smoother and definitely feels its running a hair faster and harder, definitely more ejector air than before. However, the upped speed is causing the traditional track to run a bit harder as well, and not particularly in a good way. The small potholes on the return run are more jarring, and it has a bit more positive G's going into the bottoms of hills. I hope they continue to retrack it and perhaps look at the structure because the added speed might have problems over time. It is running better than when I rode it in 2023, so its got that going for it at least. Corkscrew was nice in just getting to ride an Arrow looper again and its actually pretty smooth. I want to like Vekoma SLC's, but they're so jenky with the forces. Then again, I'm probably way more used to B&M inverts as I've ridden way more of those compared to the 3 SLC's I've done (Invertigo, T-hawk and T3).
  22. I don’t feel like they use the air curtains as much any more. Those are pretty decent at keeping the cold air in with the doors open.
  23. I learned the hard way that all my favorite restaurants in Muskegon are closed on Sundays...
  24. The park was very clean. Ride ops left a bit to be desired, but it was so dead (everything was walk-onz including ST, and WW and Corkscrew with 1 train each), it didn't bother me. I felt the ride ops were more deliberate on loading and unloading, like they never opened the gates until the guests left the exit, for the most part. The park vibe reminded me of Kings Island between when CF acquired it in 2006 through 2007 and that whole transition, minus the tons of garbage cans. 😉 BTW, my pass worked for parking and admission. You either need the app or have the receipt to access the add ons (I only used FL though, ate and drank outside the park sans water).
  25. Thank you all for working on it!
  26. That's refreshing to read! Honestly if the park would like to complete a little renovation to help the Festhaus' A/C, I think all they would need to do is build a small vestibule in the rear entrance. Keeping the doors closed would also help. On my last visit I noticed that, despite the high heat, a lot of doors around the park were propped open instead of being closed with "Cool off inside!" signs on them.
  27. Part of the A/C is working now was was better this weekend vs last, but not great. Hopefully by next weekend it will be back to 100%.
  28. How clean does the park feel overall? I don't think it'd be very dirty since you said it was a light crowd day, but you never know. As for the new track of Shivering Timbers, I'd love to know how far in advance Six Flags ordered that prior to selling the park. I can't believe Enchanted would've had the time to order/install it when they've only officially managed the park for about two months.
