  1. Thought this article was well written and a good recap of the whole merger situation https://www.dallasnews.com/business/local-companies/article/six-flags-rollercoaster-continues-tormenta-s-22257005.php
  2. Spotted Tony helping out earlier in Enrique's helping work through the long line
  3. Had the opportunity to meet him in 2014 and have always had a great impression of him. Can agree that he's a great LinkedIn follow.
  4. It appears another Monster has potentially been retired at Cedar Point. A photo was found online posted from FUN Food blog, but don't know if the image was officially approved to be taken since nothing has been announced (so not going to post it here). Could be it's getting a new concrete pad or moved elsewhere in the park, but it appears its just dirt at this point. Will be curious if some of the parts end up coming our way and if that contributed to ours reopening?
  5. Yeah the Conjuring is open for their spring break event, so that would probably explain why they just bundled it in instead of making a whole seperate thing
  6. These actually are off the same base, I don't know if they could 100% be restored, but look at the back of each ghost figure, look closely and you'll see the outline of both Scooby and Shaggy. Look at the backs of most of these props and if they were reused for a different SD:HC prop, a lot of them are still labeled with the original name on the back. Look at the back of Potion Group #7 (Lot #79) and you'll see it's labeled "money bag 1". The shape of the cutout resembles the money bags from the bank scene in the same area.
  7. This is going to be dangerous for my bank account, but really excited and glad the park is going through the effort of letting fans bid for these items.
  8. Overall after listening to the earnings call, I think John seems to understand that each park is unique, and it's a good sign that he's been traveling to each park to hear from leadership, instead of commanding a "this is what we should do response", he seems to be taking his time to truly understand what makes each park and market unique. Though also found it interesting that they declinded to comment at this time on the Enchanted Parks filing.
  9. Apparently the first 150 groups get a free ukulele...
  10. I've been told this is on the park's Instagram page I believe. So if anyone has any burning questions about the original PT, now's your time to ask!
  11. I've always enjoyed the fully enclosed queues, especially during the warmer and colder months. Time Traveler's queue is nice in that regard, the building isn't that complex, it's just basically a multi-story cube with the station loading on the top floor. That A/C on the lower floors feels great on a hot day though
  12. I really like how this looks, it's always nice to see the park investing in small things like this that improve the overall experience, even if it's just a store. I really liked the renovation of the trading post they did last year.
  13. Sorry I didn't notice that, also trying to host family for the holidays at the same time so a bit of a delay. Man I truly am terribly at uploading files and images to these forums, never can seem to get them to display right. Happy to include images, but the details seem to get lost when I screenshot or save specific portions. Also I'm not 100% sure how to spoiler tag things, so let's try this from a sharable link instead... https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HQ1HfZZwKczbdtpIEH67k34eAIrArv4i/view?usp=sharing
  14. *SPOILERS* (Please avoid viewing this pdf if you don't want to see each scene listed by name over the layout of the ride, animatronic layouts, other schematics, etc.) Mason redid their whole portal system using OpenGov Citizen Services, which you can access by creating a personal or citizen account. I already have one from past uses. It's much easier to access their monthly reports which are posted and can be access without an account. I assume these will be listed on the December monthly report which should be available soon once we hit January. SPOILER: It appears there's many different versions of the plans, in which the most recent version was approved after they omitted some HVAC renovations due to budget constraints. It's not like we know the entire ride itself from these documents, but it does list each scene by name and show a general layout of some figures representing what I assume are the animatronics. By looking at the wiring diagrams and equipment lists, you can generally tell where the screens will be located, as well as a few other certain elements. If mods want to combine this with another thread or keep it separate, that's find by me. I don't think I'm breaking any rules as I think others have posted documents from the city of Mason, but I understand if this isn't allowed. Project_Barnum_APPROVED_DWGS.pdf
  15. I'm surprised no one has mentioned anything about the detailed ride blueprints in the mason permit portal. They're been out for about a week now, they show the ride scene layout, screen locations, etc. I don't want to spoil too much, but looks like not too many screens fortunately, and it confirms a certain someone in a certain area of the building... I'll leave it at that
