I hope Action Zone isn't being re-themed to Grammar Zone.

"Like" this post if you are among the more than 40 million park visitors that have taken a ride on the longest wooden roller coaster in the world since its debut in 1979.

Nah. Sometimes Terp leaves lines for others to respond. I wasn't referring to the ride itself, but rather obliquely referring to the poster himself, as Hot Rod. Too bad that new addition isn't at NJFTP. Then again, there's always next year. Someone knows what's next after Big Droppy Thing!

The one that always bugs me is when "definitely" is misspelled as "defiantly." My favorite example: "I defiantly agree with you." How do you agree with someone while defying them at the same time?

The whole thing's a clue. Combined with the O'Terpy tombstone, it's obvious AZ going to be themed to The Interpeter. It will look exactly like Great Adventure. (There, I helped.)

Speaking of the Star Trek exhibit and Klingons on International Street, here's a photo I discovered last month while doing some cleaning: (Photo copyright © 1993 Paramount Parks Inc. and Paramount Pictures Corporation.) The woman in the middle is my mother (now do you see who I learned to wear a fanny pack from? ), and I'm the kid standing in front of her. I would have been about six years old when this was taken. To clarify here, my mother was (and still is) the Star Trek fan. I have never been interested in Trek. EDIT: Can anyone on here identify the building in the background on the right side of the picture? It looks familiar, but I can't figure out exactly what it is.

I had a dream about a week back where I was going to ride Banshee. The line surprisingly wasn't very long. It was opening day. The queue was inside, and had creepy tables people jumped out of. During the ride, I played a video game, or was in a video game, or something. It was really weird.

The one thing I've learned during my 5 years on KIC is that their are arguments about every single thing you can imagine. I shouldn't say arguments, they are more like debates, lets say that!

The sign at the end of Beach Blvd. currently says "watch for two new rides in 2014" or something like that.

Everyone sees something, unless you are unfortunate enough to be blind. -Coasterama, who just had to go there.

It's nice to get perks for the Gold and Platinum passes, but I wish they would change the "Bring a Friend" days to days other than Mother's Day and Father's Day.

I would expect those to be added later. The linked page currently says "More benefits to come", and food discounts are advertised on the season pass sales page.

This bothers me so much when people don't understand how to use a versus an. A is used before consonant sounds and an is used before vowel sounds.Examples! Wrong: An chicken climbed out of a egg. Correct: A chicken climbed out of an egg.

For how hard that park seemed to try in taking that record away from America's Roller Coast, they sure haven't been marketing it as much as I thought they would.

I wouldnt mind having one of those in my backyard!

(Meanwhile, that place in California is relatively quietly adding yet another coaster, Hot Rod.)

I think the small window you're talking about will be there. If you look at the picture posted on Twitter on 01/31 it shows the window from the outside. And in one of the pictures Don recently sent over, although it appears bigger, you can see the framed opening from the inside. But the thing I like most about the station is the woodwork. Can't wait to see it in person.

That does seem rather slow for a slingshot type ride. KI's SlingShot attraction has a top speed close to 100 mph, according to the park's website.
