Which coaster do you want to come next.

If you call raising drops and taking drops out neglect...See also Rattler, Six Flags Cyclone, and, for that matter, Racer. -

Or call Racer one coaster or that powered thing previously known as Avatar a rolley coaster. -

By Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. They can call it what they want. They own it. They can call it a dog, it still won't get fleas or wag its tail. Goliath--a fine steel coaster at SFGAm. Six Flags can call it whatever it wants. That doesn't make it so. Marketing. -
Ah. Thanks. Terp, who thought at first you were being adjective.

Latter means second mentioned--in this case of NJ or California... And, Dorothy, we aren't in Kansas anymore!

Coasters have useful lives. And a TOGO standup really isn't comparable to a Vekoma Flying Dutchman. Note that all three of the former that Paramount Parks owned are out of North American service.... There are doubtless many reasons for that.

Typically, five year plans are rolling plans. They always extend out for five years...As each year passes, year 0+5 is added...

Dick Kinzel should have done this. Certainly, he could be a VERY scary man.

For the benefit of the noobs, the young, and the too emotional: There is a five year plan. It is based on analysis, targeting, and finances. Very little at Cedar Fair is done on whimsy and happenstance (unlike, say, sponsor influence at Brand S with Company S and the letters V and R). Five year plan. Terp, bordering on saying too much ( Hi, Señor H).

You will note that even in the Kentucky Kingdom thread the implications of the political situation and their effects on the park are discussed, the political situation, ideology, etc., are not. They were discussed in an objective, politics neutral way--to the extent that is possible. And you certainly did not ever see Terp, for example, say in an off-hand way, as was done here, "That's why I am a ***** supporter." You didn't, and never will. This is a park board, not a political board. Just as in my grade school, we try to avoid discussions that are directly about, or offhand statements about, religion, sex or politics. The TOS reads the way it does because of past problems. This is a nice place, and we'd like to keep it that way.

Perhaps Mr. Ouimet needs to work a night as a scareactor incognito. He should not be treated any differently than any other major. I bet things would change pronto.

The Terp out in front tried to help ya! -
It is no different at Kings Dominion or Dorney. Conscious decisions to understaff to cut costs since you have a captive customer base who has either already paid or largely won't waste time leaving the park. Kings Dominion food service makes Kings Island's look like a paragon of efficiency. And KD "food." Sigh.
-
I believe you will find a certain park chain implemented a computer aided staffing system in food service to reduce labor costs. It works, at the expense of service, employee morale and employee welfare.
-
One need not have a platinum pass dining plan to observe food service in other Cedar Fair parks, but since you limited your inquiry to those who do... ...perplexed Terp

Thus the most... That being said, in New Jersey cars shall NOT be pulled through absent an operational braking system. -
Management knows. And tolerates it. Apparently.

Irvine Ondrey Engineering is in the controls business. Without controls, most things cannot be tested. -

Ohio is a piece of cake compared to New Jersey or California. That's one reason Worlds of Fun got a ride from the latter...

You pay up front. Then if the park decides it doesn't want to give you what you paid for, it can substitute anything it likes and you are stuck. They got your money. What's not to like? And why staff food service adequately? Meal plan customers already paid for whatever they get whenever they get it. Such a deal.
