  1. Like Pink Things. Six Flags Over Texas. No place else!
  2. Not what you probably think: http://www.businessinsider.com/chick-fil-a-is-reinventing-itself-2016-3 Hmmm.
  3. That's not the way sponsorship in a park works. I loved the four different kinds of pizza NJFTP served. Once pizza was sponsored (at first Papa John's, then Famous Famiglia), that ended. The sponsor pays big money to be exclusive. Would you be willing to pay more for admission/season passes for more choices? I would. Most would not.
  4. No wonder I like them so much. Terp--part of the target market.
  5. As per the TOS, if these are from the park, please provide a link. If you took these, BRAVO!
  6. It was an exaggeration. It's still less than a mile away. It's three miles by car or 1.7 by walking. The latter is NOT recommended.
  7. ...and another year has passed... Big Dipper still forlornly stands, awaiting its fate...
  8. And now Good Times Theater has taken a dive. And Scooby and Val? Terp, ravn.
  9. No, it isn't. First of all, old Cardinal Stadium was located at the Fair and Exposition Center. Nearly 18 years ago, Papa John's Cardinal Stadium opened on the grounds of an old railyard, south of U of L's campus.
  10. You should see some of the things mine tries to "fix." And the "corrections!" Far too much transparency for comfort. Terp, who worries like a wart at times.
  11. I hope they don't specialize in breaking systems. Terp, who does, among other things, that, for a living. He's quite good at it.
  12. Fast Lane is limited, too... Terp, who probably will be somewhere more pacific by then...
  13. I'm not quite sure I know what's being said here, and I'm not quite sure I WANT to. Terp, who as he said during his colloquy, quickly learned upon his move to the ATL, "I is not a Southerner!"
  14. Yes. I suspect it greatly contributed to the wild, seemingly uncontrolled ride (and maintenance problems).
  15. If games sales decline, wonder how long it would take to see this walked back/modified? Do you think they will decline?
  16. Two thoughts: * Don't you have to buy chips in a casino before playing or tokens for arcade games? * Wonder what the reaction would be if all of us who hate being barked at by the games barkers each agreed to play, but when told to buy a card, shrugged and walked away...
  17. I can assure you that one Ed Hart has personally approved and may have even selected the colors--just as he attempts to do with every single element in that park. Yes, it's his baby. Yes, he does it because he cares so much. But not unlike D. Kinzel, the man needs to realize that others have talents, specializations, and abilities, both individually and collectively, that far exceed his. Delegating is a skill...a difficult one for people like Mr. Hart. I wonder who selects the color schemes in his home. And I'd love to see the inside!
  18. See: http://www.greatadventurehistory.com/JumpinJackFlash.htm SUCH a wonderful site!
