  1. Absolutely. Many better options for food than at KI.
  2. Maybe if this experience were open more than 6(ish) days to the public, they shied away from serving chicken tenders are almost every restaurant they would have had a better chance?
  3. This likely, I'm guessing, is due to the fact that the park will no longer be in existence in a few years. Time to start scaling down operations as they can.
  4. I will give Snow Works a few points, because we actually went further down the decline than on Black Friday when we only went a couple of inches.
  5. Completed in time for winterizing!
  6. Hey we got that new 2024 Coke Refresh Station! Things are looking up in Action Zone!
  7. Bye Nighthawk!! Sorry to hear about Scream Weaver/Drop Tower.
  8. Enjoyed my visit last night. I did not end up doing the buffet....but enjoyed my meal at Coney BBQ. Racer in December just hits different. So fun!!! Snoopy's Soap Box Racers was a nice addition. The lights around the train have been mostly fixed...there were still fixtures that left the people decapitated, missing an arm, or just not on at all. Music played which was a plus. Snow Works only allowed for 2-3 lanes to be used. I tried two of the cocktails, which ended up being good.
  9. Looks like Tony C. continues with Six Flags as well!
  10. Hope you had a great time! I'm heading into the park tomorrow, looking forward to my visit, hoping it's low crowds too!
  11. I see what ya did there. I asked SF corporate if they would share inside info with seasonal employees. They said they Schell.
  12. I understand the distrust in Six Flags for now....but what I don't get is a newish user comes in and says something to the tune of "The Bat is leaving because someone from Charlotte told me." Not long after the fact that Six Flags says 'xyz' isn't going anywhere....so are we supposed to trust them or not? I always try to ride The Bat as often as I can....so not much will change for me to prepare if this is true. I'll be really sad if it does end up happening.
  13. Unfortunately, that leaves a lot to be desired, found out. Hoping someone tonight can post the menu and pricing.
  14. The loss of 11 pm closes on Fridays in the summer really stinks.
  15. I sent a request on the Contact Us form about pricing and menu. Haven't heard anything back as of yet, but today is the first night it is "open" to the public. If anyone goes, please post the info
  16. November 1st returns to the calendar...which is good....as of now, no bonus weekend.
  17. Agreed, I hate the situation though. I still love Invertigo though. Nighthawk IMO
  18. Curious to hear what other high cost/high maintenance rides across SF that you think may end up leaving. With recent speculation, I am wondering (I hate to even say this) if Invertigo and Congo Falls are on their way out.
  19. I'm guessing they'll no longer support the Flying Dutchman coasters. I feel as if they'll end service on the product, which is why Carowinds and eventually Six Flags America will have the rides removed. I have no proof of this or anything, but this is just my gut feeling. An interesting note, I went to Vekoma's website to see if Flying Dutchman was still listed as a product...it is, under flying coasters. Aside from the "flying coaster" and "stingray coaster" concepts, they do list Flying Dutchman (twice - Firehawk and Batwing. What cracks me up is that for one of the listings of Flying Dutchman they mention it is Firehawk..but use pictures of X Flight at Six Flags Worlds of Adventure/Geauga Lake. Check out the listing here: https://www.vekoma.com/references/flying-dutchman-1
  20. While standups are not my favorite, I had hopes that it'd relocate. A part of me hoped that it'd make it's way back to Kentucky Kingdom. Another part of me hoped it would have received the floorless conversion and arrive at another Six Flags park.
  21. I don't think our time in the sun is gone or that we're becoming an afterthought. I will say, I don't ever think we'll have as worse of a relationship for Capital Investments as ValleyFair/Michigan's Adventure has had with Cedar Fair.
  22. I don't know why but this reminds me of the polarcoasters.....I'll believe it when I see it.
  23. Honestly would be nice...not being from the area, it is confusing finding the park entrance.
  24. Never knew there was a bowling alley at the expo center. Interesting.
  25. That’s the first I’ve seen this. I dig it. Of course it’s quite reminiscent to SDC. I would be happy with this change for sure, despite not getting to KK often.
