KD: Kids Price
No, they just incur full price($60 some dollars). Everyone pays kids price is online only to my knowledge. Funny enough kids price is nearly full price in 2006($49.99). But yet the price of video games and their systems have bearly moved in 30 years.

Same thing for Carowinds, it makes the Subway coupon useless.

Yea that a GCI footer right there. It has the 3 holes in a triangluar shape like the slanted ones above. That is also common metal parts sold at Home Improvement Stores....Maybe Lowes or Home Depot is braking into the wooden coaster asile.

Is it sad that one member of a forum is a good chuck of why I like this forum over the forum for my home park.

Power outage at Carowinds
Unsafe.....their maintenance dept's budget isn't that low. Just alittle rust here and there, SIX FLAGS Kentucky Kingdom let Greezed Lightning be covered in rust, almost appearing to have rust holes in place while operating.

Power outage at Carowinds

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
I suspect that the direction of travel is to the right, the left hand curve(the one with wide supports) following the lift(my guess) will be where the the Funnel Cake stand was. The two rectangular boxes that stand out near where the two tracks run parallel to each other is where the coaster will cross the train tracks. Can someone make an overlay from my guess please?

Smoking laws not being enforced
The tobacco companies don't hold a gun to someone's head and tell them smoke our cigarettes or we will shoot nor do they threaten to toss you in jail or garish wages. Smokers choose to purchase cigarettes, the Truth.org commercials have gotten alittle absurd. A pack of methol cigarettes lasts me around 6 months, I smoke at most two a week but I would say on average one every two weeks.

NC Park To Open July 2
One of our local news people called up to Maggie Valley Chamber of Commorce and they told him that Ghost Town Village pushed the Opening to June 15th and that what was posted on Facebook was a result of a hacker. I don't buy that story for a minute....

GHOST TOWN IN THE SKY:
Yep, that would be the saving grace for the property. Thus far, she has overpromised and underdelivered. The only new attraction ever opened was Ziplines in the parking lot instead of on top of the mountain where it could have been a unique experience.

GHOST TOWN IN THE SKY:
Ghost Town in the Sky died in 2002 when the original owner closed the park because of several accidents, to my knowledge poor maintenance caused the accidents. The park was placed up for sale, and reopened in 2007 under new owners. Half of the rides were beyond repair and were left on site or scrapped, the park had to have assistance from a local government to reopen in 2008 and in 2009 a donator had to invest(?) to get the park open again. The old Red Devil reopened for a couple days in 2009 but was shut down after a hairline crack was found in the new train. Alaska Pressly brought the park in 2012 but once again with half the rides (or less)of the 2009 season. The incline railway was never repaired and the park closed after the 2014 season. The whole park has been nothing but a money pit since 2002 or before. For this year, Alaska had sold or leased out the rides, I expect the vendors for this new Ghost Town Village(renamed this year) shopping district will file lawsuits against her.

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
Some coasters have winches installed in certain locations in case of valleying. Racer may have a second chain at the highest point of the turnaround to catch the trains and stop them from rolling back. Thunder Road did and it was fairly common to see it caught by the device during preseason(March-June) morning test runs.
