Actually Dr. Jones, theres a few, you have that one across fromt herestrooms on the virge of rivertown, then theres another one across from reptar and plankton, one on the way in across form scooby, one back in south pie near where the ghoster coaster used to be, and one by the krusty crab.

Maybe they will make them effective and efficent for both the employees and the guests or atleast well inform the guests on how they properly work since Paramount couldnt seem to grasp that concept at all last year. Disney has electronic efficent systems with directions clearly defined, while PKI didnt provide any paperwork for the first batch of gold pass holders. To get their time tickets, which they were usualyl annoyed when they found out that they had to get a ticket, they had to go to the booth under the eifel tower. Disney has the ticket dispensers right at the ride. Many times gold pass holders assume their gold passes automatically allow them to cut line and just hop on over into the speed lane (which is usually paralell to the regular lane) and assume they can use their gold passes to cut which is nto the case. Yes, there is some ignorance on the guests part but that for the most part can be avaoided by a REAL and EFFICENT speed pass system, but seeing how Paramount has alreayd cut back everything this year I doubt we'll see that. I pray Cedar Fair does a better job at this.

Nice picture Brad! As he said, I contributed 5 pictures to the Jones Soda Landmark contest, 2 of which included PKI. One was ana amzing picture of Delerium crossing over the eifel tower and it remained int he top spot for about 2 months straight. However Jones never announced a winner for the contest and still hasnt to date. Its been 6 months. They give very little info about it and contacting them is nearly impossible. Today I finnaly saw they announced some winners that were going on bottles, land mark photos werent in the mix. Apparently, you have to take a picture of half your friends face or of a babys face close up in black and white with a camera phone for it to get on a label. Wheres the justice? The contests they have are jokes and the winners are kids who jsut flicked a picture at random and kept voting themselves a 10, cause Jones' website doesnt care if the sam ip votes once each hour.

How did this happen?

^I like how that nunber gets bigger and bigger every time someone says it..........first it was 2007, then 2009, than it was CONFIRMED 2008, now its 2012. Anyone got any real proof as to when the license really does end?

What do you think the Disney trains run on? They do burn diesel but thats used to heat a steam boiler. Its not even the only one in Ohio the Cedar Point trains runs on steam as well. Pretty sure the Knott's train is steam. There is an interesting story behind the Cedar Point railroad. In the 1950s Cedar Point was going to be closed and turned into a housing development. The owner took a trip to Disneyland and decided that instead he was going to update the park and one of the rides he wanted was a steam train based off of what he saw at Disney. The board of directors did not want to spend the money so he paid for it himself and he leased the land from the park. The train went on to become the most popular ride in the park. Kings Island is the only Paramount Park to operate steam trains I belive.

A 3day visit, you'll most liekly get to ride it alteast a few times, and oh what a ride it is.

Go throught Post II then and save yourself some time

They should convert the theming into a cracker barrel that you can ride the train to.

^In the original post he said he wanted to organize volunteers to go paint and stain the scenery. Its a noble goal TG1993, but theres better things to donate your time to.

As Kenabn said, PKI still has volunteer workers come in to raise money for an organization but they dont do maintenance or repair work.

The Dayton Daily News is one of the WORST newspapers, or should I say rags, that I've ever read. The onyl food thing about that paper is the building theyre in cause its a nice piece of architecture. They are contantly getting facts and dates wrong, and their articles are poorly written. Even the Journal News in Hamilton is better than the Dayton Daily News. Boddah, Zoso, and Itlaianchef also agree about the dayton daiyl news.

All local news in Cincinnati is bad, the short lived WB 64 news was fantastic is too bad it didnt work out. While Cincinnati local news is bad, fort wayne and daytons is even worse. Park guests baffle me, I no longer work for PKI or any park for that matter, but it annoys me as to how everyone thinks their the authority. "It goes up it spins hes down" THE RESTRICTIONS ARE SET FOR HIS SAFETY! Im sorry but that lady is truly a dumbass and the people who agree with here and dont see the safety changes are blind. DId channle 5 have nothing better to cover? Seriously, thats not a problem at Kings Island. THey took extra safety measures they shoud be applauded for keeping the little tikes safe, and IM sure they published the new changes well before this dumb B***h bought her ticket or pass but she made no attempt to check. Ive seen much worse cases though, long ago when I worked for the park I had a guest attempt to hit me after i told him i wouldnt permit his daughter to ride Face Off, she was no way close and he was promptly escorted out by police.

^THat actually made me laugh. Do you think Charlie Brown somewhat senses that Cedar Fair is going to abondon him and snoopy is oblivious that Spongebob is stabbing him in the back. Personally Id like to see CF keep both, but who knows, it oculd go either way. Good post INterpreter.

Also I believe Ucatguy meant having a good laugh as in the employees and the guests have a good laugh at how the guests clearly ignored the obvious obsticale and jumped over it. Its quite silly

^Woah there cowboy. The gates are blocked off. I rode it yesterday and the que to the 3 seats has had more metal que erected in front of where you once walked. It is IMPOSSIBLE to walk straight through to these 3 back gates, which I dont believe open either, the only way to get in the lines for these 3 gates is to climb over the handrails, which is against the rules. Its pretty easy to see that you cant get to those seats and when theres no straight way into them why would you climb?

You guys do great work, all the theming working was awesome yesterday and sitting up front and getting to see it all was great

Do you two gentleman think that Kings Island will eventually become a destination spot like CP with the latest edition of the GWL and whats t come from CF. Could you see CF turning PKI into a destination spot like CP?

^Where do you get your information for the price of the investments? Im not calling you a liar but do you have any receipts because most people have just made speculations as to what they have cost, where do you know the exact costs from? LIke I said not flaming you just wanting to know where to find the information.

^Onboard audio wasnt working but the audio in the que and station was. In the cars you could see wires in front of you and stuff but there was no sound. I cant remember, did the police car sirens play through the car on board audio or through speakers by them? I seem to remeber a video on here where they hd the police cars playing outside of the cars and it kept looping and it was very annoying to the guests walking around. One other thing, the lights were not on the police cars when we rode but later when we we walked be they were on and when i filmed it from the tower they were on.

THats what I meant, I dont know why I thought swoop was that possible?
