I like Kings Island because of the memories I have there of going as a kid, memories of going there iwth friends who I'm not that close to anymore, and how everytime I go in there I find some new photographic oppourtunity, it is one of my favorite places to take my cameras.

What, you mean he cant be right? His excellent grammar skills and convincing argument of restating the word "very" multiple times almost had me convinced! It's too bad Shaggy already revealed what the fate of the FOF's was intended to be under paramount leadership. It will be interesting to see what CF does, I'm sure skywriter doesnt know.

Nickelodeon Celebration Parade!
Gordon Bombay replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
Okay....since you said at first you never watch any of the shows (prior to this time), I just gotta ask: Do you watch the shows at Disney? Which ones? Where? School of Rock is good, yes. The Nick parade is impressive for a seasonal park, yes. The performers put their heart and soul into their work? Indeed! But on a par with Disney? With Disney levels of props, staffing, original music and scores, care and preparation? Do you really have a Disney show knowledge base to compare the Paramount entertainment to? Have you seen, say, Phantasmic? The Disney Electric Parade? Not picking on you (I hope I wouldn't do that), but I am just curious. Just as I was shocked the other day when a poster suggested anything Cedar Fair did would be better than Paramount show-wise. Then again, it's opinion. But I really am interested. And I must ask, have you seen the shows at Seaworld in Orlando? Ever seen a Broadway show? An off-Broadway show? Or the Christmas show at Dollywood? Or even a show at Six Flags Over Texas, Fiesta Texas or Six Flags Great Adventure (the latter ONLY after 2004)? If you don't normally watch shows, and think that Paramount's entertainment is on a par with Disney, it isn't very much different than someone who doesn't ride coasters but rode Space Mountain once to think it is on a par with Voyage. Or with The Beast. Etc., etc. Nah interpreter your not picking on me, but when did i say i hardly watched any shows? What I meant was that prior to School Of Rock and the nick parade I never bothered tos ee the shows except once or twice. I have gone to Disney the past two summers in a row, seen their electrical parade, and phantasmic, the indiana jones stunt show etc. I've been to a boradway play, I've seen the rocketees and I still agree that School Of Rock and the Nick parade are right up there. Speaking as a musician I know the amount of work it takes for the people in shcool of rock to get everything jsut right and how to interact with the crowd plus the performers with you and tey do such a good job. One thing I'll give you though interpreter is that the INdiana JOnes Stunt show comepletely blows away the Tomb Raider stutn show PKI used to have -
Great TR tubaman, glad to have you back and glad to see you enjoyed your day at the park! I agree with you about the food prices; while visiting the park with Boddah and Zoso today we decided to ditch our original plan of getting re-entry stamps and going down the highway to chipotle and instead opted for Happy Days Diner. I got the Fonzi bacon chese burger (1/3 lb.) which came with fries and I purchased a regular sized orange soda drink. THe food was good, but not the best burger I've ever had and definently not worth 13 dollars!! That was outrageous, I could've gotten more food at mcdonalds for a much smaller price.

Nickelodeon Celebration Parade!

^The Parade was great today. They put a lot of hard work into it and it shows. Even though I never watch any of those shows I imensely enjoyed it and the atmosphere it brought. After seeing the parade multiple stimes last year and seeing it today on top of viewing School Of Rock twice today with BOddah and zoso I must tell you all what a fantastic job the entertainment department at PKI does. THe entertainment is definently right on par with Disney. -
^Read the WHOLE topic before you post, no one was arguing what the theme was. And by the way for your information the movie takes place wtih and was made with the help of the UNITED STATES NAVY not Air Force. Our ride is called "Top Gun". It is the official name of the ride and that is whats printed on the maintenance sheets, map, and park website. Top Gun: The Jet Coaster is the name of the Top Gun themed coasters at Paramount's Carowinds, Great America, and Canada's Wonderland. Top Gun: The Jet Coaster was built at Paramount's Carowinds in 1999 (It was actually originally supposed to be themed to Godzilla but changed after the movie did poorly) and which is what the shirts PKIC member TopGun1993 took pictures of. The topic is about how and why PKI is selling those shirts/sweatshirts which are intended to be sold for the ride at Carowinds. Next time, before complaining and accusing everyone else of not knowing what theyre talking about and not getting the research done you should probably do it yourself. Have a nice day, and remember READ THE WHOLE TOPIC before writisng a post and only make the post if it adds something intelligent or remotely interesting to the conversation to make our internet community better and to avoid anymore idiotic posts in the future.

What if you were hired to rename KI rides & shops?
Gordon Bombay replied to italianchef's topic in KI Polls
Paramount names dont have to change, CF has the rights for 10 years and those of NU for 4. Drop Zone does not wing in a pendulum shape, nor swing at all for that matter, maybe you meant Delirium? -
^I thought you had to be 21 to get a htoel room without parental consent, i dont know though. Id call the comfort inn.

^The fact that he spelled it wrong was aprt of the joke, he did it intentionally, insinuating that six flags makes some really stupid mistakes, whether you believe they do or not is up to you.
