^The Parade was great today. They put a lot of hard work into it and it shows. Even though I never watch any of those shows I imensely enjoyed it and the atmosphere it brought. After seeing the parade multiple stimes last year and seeing it today on top of viewing School Of Rock twice today with BOddah and zoso I must tell you all what a fantastic job the entertainment department at PKI does. THe entertainment is definently right on par with Disney.

And by the way for your information the movie takes place wtih and was made with the help of the UNITED STATES NAVY not Air Force. Our ride is called "Top Gun". It is the official name of the ride and that is whats printed on the maintenance sheets, map, and park website. Top Gun: The Jet Coaster is the name of the Top Gun themed coasters at Paramount's Carowinds, Great America, and Canada's Wonderland. Top Gun: The Jet Coaster was built at Paramount's Carowinds in 1999 (It was actually originally supposed to be themed to Godzilla but changed after the movie did poorly) and which is what the shirts PKIC member TopGun1993 took pictures of. The topic is about how and why PKI is selling those shirts/sweatshirts which are intended to be sold for the ride at Carowinds. Next time, before complaining and accusing everyone else of not knowing what theyre talking about and not getting the research done you should probably do it yourself. Paramount names dont have to change, CF has the rights for 10 years and those of NU for 4. Drop Zone does not wing in a pendulum shape, nor swing at all for that matter, maybe you meant Delirium?

I noticed that the other day while I was doing some photogrpah and filming work, you beat me to it, my batteries in my camera were dead.

I have an old pic of me on AE thats in black and white. Good memories. I also have my siters black and whitepics on The Beastie and the first year of color photos of them on taxi jam.

Klockster, according to this guy, anything can qualify a rollercoaster, so do I get credit for using a tred mill or each time a drive a differnt car?

By following the deifiniton of what a "roller coaster" is, you will find that avatar is in fact not a coaster but a powered flat ride. If you consider it a coaster by your own definition I assume you follow your own self published dictionary. That is why you work in games, not the rides department.

^Thanks for the info Shaggy, that cleared up a lot. I've been to timberwolf only a handful of times and I never really enjoyed it. I got drug a long with my little sisters to see Aaron carter on one of their birthdays when he came and even though hes not the most talented individual, it sounded pretty bad. The rides didnt interfeer too much, but there was constant popping and static from the sound ssytem and many times there would be long periods of buzzing coming from the speakers. I remember that the seating there is awful and barely rasied. Fights kept breaking out cause kids would stand on the seats and the other kids parents behind them would complain to the standing kids parents. I dont think I've ever seen adults act any more imature that night then I ever have at Kings Island. I saw Modest Mouse there too a few years back and while this time the sound was great, the view and seating were bad, the lights sucked, and the constant roar of SOB and Drop Zone drowned out the band talking in between songs. I remember the madness that ensued when Britney Spears played, I was just visitng the park with famiyl that day and Action Zone was packed with people just waiting to be admitted into the Timberwolf. I'd much rather see almost any band at Riverben than at Timberwolf and depending on how big of a crowd they draw nothings beats Bogarts. My band has played at both Bogarts and Topcats and I could see it being much mroe fun there than at Timberwolf where its hard to interact with the fans.

A new shir tthat they hav ethis year is my favorite.......its has a bright yellow star in the middle of a red shirt and features mock russian lettering that says PARAMOUNTS Kings Island AMUSEMENT PARK with olive branches around it and looks like an old communist symbol.
