It does seem like a perfect fit doesnt it? IF CF was able to sell Hypersonic, it would have sold well under what they orginailly paid for it, especially since they were trying to sell it for so long. Im pretty sure it sold since it has mysteriously disappeared and there is no confirmation it sold for scrap. I would say some one got an early Christmas Present for Day after Thanksgiving prices...

If you want the least jarring ride possible, ride the front. The farther you go towards the back to more violent the ride. You will hear a lot of folks say how rough it is and that its awful, honestly find it a great ride. Big fan actually. If you want something to compare it to, try Texas Giant or Mean Streak, both very violent woodies and honestly I think the Giant is rougher than SoB.

Nice trip report, sorry I missed it. But I spent the weekend moving our hot tub from our old house in Springboro to our new one and then I stained our deck. So I was a little busy and Im a little burnt today. Lets say I just enjoyed some Bombay before bed last night.

Couldn't agree more. Would you have thrown this big of a deal if you asked for pickles and they left the pickles off? Yet when you advised the worker of the situation and they gave you pickles would you still have filed a formal complaint?

GL Waterpark will remain. GL will be a waterpark only destination,atleast thats the plan.

Well there are 3 going to KD and I would imagine that the others will show up at other CF parks not getting a coaster in 09. I doubt KI gets any of the flats from GL

Yes I know the Zoo has a huge species count, but here is a blatant missing species. There are no Giraffes anymore!!! How can you have a zoo without Giraffes? I think a lot of the Zoos animals have been sent to the Wilds. Seeing as they have Giraffes, Rhinos, and the new Mid Size Carnivore Center. Brief tangent, if you have not been to the Wilds nor have any idea what it is, make a trip asap. You cannot imagine a place like this in Ohio no less. The Wilds I have been to the zoo this summer 5 times and was there about the same number last year. My trips this year were at different times of the seasson to and still lack of animals and movement. Personally I think they are also counting the animals at the Wilds now as well. Asia quest is not that impressive, a few stones here and there a giant gong and some winding paths. Some new animal exhibits and thats it. The Cincinnati Zoo has gone through some major updates, the exhibts look fresh and you can get very upclose. The Polar Bear and Giraffe exhibts are excellent, not to mention the Schott Elephant house. They also have one of the largest collections of big cats around, in species and number. I still think the Louisville Zoo is one of the nicest I have ever been to. Yes I know the Columbus zoo is going to be making a lot of changes, The redirecting of Powell Road, the onsite resort, and more additions to the parks. But right now it just seems that the animals are an afterthought.

They have great plans for the Zoo and Zoombezi bay. Just had my wifes firm outting there. Man you want to talk about crowds. Really a nice setting having both parks now. Although I must admit Im a little dissapointed in the zoo. Just seemed to be a lack of animals. Ill be honest I find the Louisville Zoo even the Cincinnati Zoo with the new Elephant and Giraffe exhibts to be a much nicer Zoo. Just seemed that all of the attention is at Zoombezi Bay and the animals seemed like an after thought. The animal exhibts could really use some updating. But I have a good feeling that the overall park will really grow over the next few years.

With the coverage the ride will get from this site Im not overly concerned about the blog. I would imagine monthly updates.

Ususally discounted tickets through employeers are only good through certain dates or they must be used by a certain date. They are usually not good for HH or any other special event. Might want to check to see if they must be used before the park shuts down weekly seassonal opperation. I also cant imagine they are any cheaper than what you can buy an all day Saturday ticket for on KI's website. Online they are a great price for all day admission plus entry to HH
