  1. The closest I've been to a skunk was when I worked at the park in 2005. A family of skunks took up residence under the track at what is now Peanuts 500. After they decided to come out of their burrow one night while the park was open, a trapper was brought in and they were moved to the woods. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 4
  2. If only it were as simple as new seats. I'm sure there's a lot more to it than that though.
  3. My guess is they're preparing to spruce up the area since that ride will likely see a huge burst in ridership next year. It would be rather difficult to remove that section since it's right below the station.
  4. You may also want to consider using the "sync" capabilities of Chrome or Firefox if you use the same browser on multiple devices. This will sync cookies, saved passwords and other data across all your devices, improving the browsing experience. Firefox: Firefox menu -> Options -> Options, click "Sync" then follow the links/prompts from there. Chrome: Enabled by default when you're signed in with your Google account (go to the Settings page to manage sync settings)
  5. According to Orlando TV station WKMG: See http://www.clickorlando.com/news/walt-disney-world-changes-disability-policies/-/1637132/22070288/-/1s1bsv/-/index.html for the complete article. Also see http://www.clickorlando.com/news/new-disney-disability-rule-goes-into-effect/-/1637132/22347520/-/3e8myk/-/index.html for more info on the program.
  6. A while back several sources reported about abuse of Disney's disabled-rider program, where wealthy patrons were paying big bucks to become guests of a disabled person, thereby allowing them to dishonestly skip the lines simply because of their wealth. Disney has now decided to change their policy relating to this, to try and curb abuse: http://www.ocregister.com/articles/disney-527365-program-brown.html This of course is not going over well for obvious reasons. I definitely understand why they did this, but I don't know if it's the best solution. It should help stop the abuse though, since they won't really get any more out of it than they would if they got FastPass.
  7. If you look to the right of the operator booth at Zephyr, there's a large round concrete pad that I believe was used as a footer for the Giant Slide.
  8. How can you not like eBay? Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 4
  9. If you've ever seen anything relating to The Muppets, you've seen one... http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Whatnots Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 4
  10. For local folks, Herschend also owns the Newport Aquarium.
  11. I feel sorry for all the people involved in this. It's a shame that Kinzel isn't one of the ones having to deal with the mess he created. In some ways I can also understand why CF keeps appealing this - what are they going to do with the person who took over for Falfas? You can't fire someone simply because the court says you have to reinstate their predecessor in that position, but it's also tough to relocate that person within the company due to the nature of said position.
  12. Nice to see that they're putting that lift from over by Invertigo to good use for once
  13. And for those who don't have a Facebook? Someone can post a link to the album.

  15. Just a reminder to everyone... If you want to share pictures from the webcam, please save them to your computer and upload them to an image hosting site such as Photobucket, then share the uploaded image here. Otherwise your post makes no sense for those of us who didn't see it when you posted it since the webcam image automatically updates every minute or so.
  16. You should upgrade to Tapatalk 4... It's much better than Tapatalk 2
  17. So I hadn't heard any of this yet. So is the bsb going to be tolled? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Tapatalk 4 It's not certain yet, but they're saying that it's likely to be part of the project recommendations. See http://www.brentspencebridgecorridor.com/tolling/ for more details.
  18. Ah the good old days of Nick. I miss those days. Slime, lots of game shows and funny cartoons... Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 4
  19. My dad's had an autographed copy of it for years. Great book if you can find it!
  20. Press conference from the governor... Mobile users: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=675609432458572 (it is on Facebook but does not require an account and should work on most mobile devices).
  21. I'm also wondering how KK will affect Beech Bend's attendance, since BB is only 2 hours from Louisville. Granted, BB and HW are much different parks, but I'm sure they drew at least some of the KK crowd as well. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 4
  22. Woodstock's Whirlybirds, Linus' Beetle Bugs, Peanuts 500, Peanuts Off Road Rally and part of a shift at whatever the kids carousel is called now (I picked up a shift in East Pie one time) Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 4
  23. There's probably about as much a chance of that happening as there is seeing the current trains in their original form (buzz bars, bench seats and no seatbelts). Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 4
  24. That is a different situation. The county owns all the riverfront lots near Paul Brown Stadium where tailgating is not only allowed but often encouraged. I'm sure there are legal exceptions in place to allow consumption of alcohol and grilling in those lots. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 4
  25. Unfortunately it looks like I'll be missing this again. I spent too much time debating whether I wanted to do both this and the space/sci fi concert from the Cincy Pops that same weekend (meaning taking two days off work) and just realized it's too late to request that day off now. I need to plan this stuff better :-P Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 4
