  1. Ahhh, don't see that. How do you think this is an accurate statement?
  2. As they say: Lies, darn Lies and Statistics.
  3. Oh Hush Interpreter! Don't mock Mr. K! <G>
  4. Was actually opened every day until Paramount took over the park. Was called Chiquita Island Originally and was one of Mr. Lindner's pride and joys.
  5. Ya just gotta love Rachel. Glad that she's pointing out some comparisons.
  6. Very cool. They they'll be able to use the name Kings of Komedy.
  7. I think that would have the potential of bringing a very large crowd. I don't think they're going to be able to close the park at 10pm.
  8. Then again, it's the quality for what you are paying for that people are upset about. If I was buying an $8 hamburger for $10, not bad. If I'm buying a $2 hamburger and paying $10, then I think it's not worth it at all. And therein lies the problem...quality of the food. And I agree that their pricing is right in line with most other amusement parks. On the other hand, I understand that Kennywood has good food at good prices, so there's always an exception to the rule. In actuality, two amusement park chains seem to be the exception to the rule. I would think that chains with the impact of Disney, Universal, Busch and such can pretty much set the rule.
  9. Bahaha. Will it have neon colors and give samples of acid? Haha. Speed Racer was crap, I could see it as the new 'stoners hang out' It was seriously some guy on acid. I'd be frightened what KI would charge for hits of acid. Lord, we thought food prices were high!
  10. Two things that bother me-bad drivers, and hitting a deer. Liam Neeson hit one with his bike when I lived in NY, and broke his hip. He's lucky he didn't die. Otherwise, it makes perfect sense. I am still considering it. I tell ya man. I love my bike and I drive it in ATL Traffic. The key is just watch out for the crazy drivers.
  11. Robbie is attempting to jump over 20 Hummers in Texas in June: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/5777877.html It's expected to be the last big jump of Coke Zero Trucks.
  12. I think she had mentioned she was skipping breakfast to save up to pay for a trip to CP?
  13. They just had a woman on ABC News that has started to skip breakfast to be able to save money. She saves an additional $20 per week by doing that.
  14. Yeah, I swear there was a whole thread about this article. I'm not able to find it in the search function. Mr. Kinzel said a lot of inappropriate things in the article. Edit: Never mind, it's here. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?...101&hl=hold
  15. No, don't forget it all... I just wondered why you said what you did...this is a discussion board, after all! Cedar Fair says they listen...and you never know what might happen! Hmmmm, I can't find the thread with what CF said. But if memory serves right, it said that they take surveys in which the questions are crafted to obtain the answers that they're looking for. Well, at least that's the summarized version.
  16. Now I remember on the Brady Bunch that Cindy had ice cream after her tonsil's were taken out!
  17. Well, folk better invest in gas cap locks.
  18. I don't understand his economics-even driving to work is a challenge for me. That's why they've only increased food proces by 5 cents or so.
  19. Oh my gosh! I was just thinking the same thing!
  20. By some stroke of luck, this one may be coming true. ^ Now, I want a real restaurant at KI. One that you go into, get waited on, and eat at. Like you see in almost any town in the U.S. You'd think that a company that can drop tens of millions on a new ride could put in a restaurant and make a go of it. There's tons I don't understand, though. I think it would be mighty scary to be in charge of a company that has decided they must get $4 for a Coke in order to run their business correctly. Ah, yes, that type of restaurant used to be called the "International Restaurant" right above the main gate. what a waste of space it is now. Actually, that restaurant was two restaurants. Columbia Palace and International Restaurant. .... And Then There Were None.
  21. Nope, ichase is right. To do that would be a public relations nightmare.
  22. Spam does not count as a meat.
  23. And let's not forget that when SF attempted to institute such a policy, it was quickly shelved.
