  1. Done. That was very cool for him. I'm betting that he's very happy. (And kinda cool, too.) WLWT's streaming video is terrible!
  2. lol! That's pretty funny. Nothing like pavement to make the ride thrilling. Or Gravel.
  3. Oh WOW. I thought the days of the "Ugly American" were a day of the past. I've never seen what you have described at any tourist attraction or park in this country. If you've been to Europe, you know very well that it's a much more structured environment. (as far as following directions) You can accuse European and Asian individuals of many things but not following rules is not one of them. In fact, the foreign visitors are usually far better behaved than many of the so called US Citizens that visit the country.
  4. I can't remember any seasonal parks ever running specials before regular operation starts?
  5. And I bet his dad beat him each time. Imagine how impressed and the braging rights he'd have if his dad helped guide his shots or let him win once?
  6. I have also heard this from a few people. I think Cedar Fair will do ok, but I don't think it will be as great as Mr. Kinzel thinks it will be! Places like Walt Disney World will be hit VERY hard by these high gas prices. People usually drive there because they couldn't afford to FLY the whole family to WDW, now they can't afford to drive them there either! I'm thinking that Disney and Universal will be hit far less than CF and SF Parks. (CP Included) Disney has shown over the years a certain immunity to such economic downturns.
  7. Most states charge whether you are dining in or out.
  8. It's not blowing in the wind?
  9. Spoken like someone that's never ridden it.
  10. Yes, Actually I can see a strong case being made for harassment. If you specifically ask that phone calls stop, I'm not certain how they can get around that.
  11. I was kinda in aww that the man that wrote the book in KI did not know who the Kings of Komedy were?
  12. What they can not do without is the protections that the US military afford. I'm not certain that the Saudi's would be too excited about utilizing China's military for protection. As far as OPEC, as I understand it we only receive about 15% of our fuel oil from the middle east. Soooooo, best be looking towards our sources in Mexico, Central and South America as a good chunk comes from there.
  13. That's because it would require reading the many of the threads that you post in?
  14. No way to remove from a calling list? How absolutely nuts is that??????
  15. Ohio is one of the few states that still has that exemption.
  16. Horrible so far. Much cooler than normal and far more storms than I've seen in years. And, it's not even hurricane season!
  17. Seems like quite an effective marketing technique. They seem to have hit all the season pass holders. I'm wondering if it motivated any of the season pass folk to buy another season pass? You know - "Oh my gosh honey, I know we have season passes but lets go buy more!"
  18. Ohio Tax
  19. Kinda like a theater? So when they put a new movie in at Showcase, it's essentially a new theater?
  20. New shows? New special events and promotions? Seems there actually is quite a bit under the tree.
  21. The only time I can remember Kings Island doing tax included is when money belts were/are used. It's much too difficult to run a money belt and calculate tax.
  22. Most businesses will actually ask if it's ok to call or text you. That is especially for those that have received messages on their cell phones. Now I don't have land line, so the phone number I list is always my cell phone. When I receive an unsolicited call to my cell number; I become one P.O.'d Bear.
  23. Such a simple fix for International Street. That one is a no brainer.
  24. Perhaps they are using pass information from previous years, and not necessarily this year. Ohhhhhh! And decided not exclude the ones that already bought passes?
  25. Kentucky is not that tricky in dealing with Bad Faith issues. But yes, that's a concern. You never want to risk opening up the policy. (translation - risk paying more than the policy limits)
