For conversation sake, is this considered swimming?

ORLANDO: 50 Dead, 53 Wounded
^ You are a perfect example why guns are legal & should NOT be banned. But anytime gun advocates hear that changes should be done to protect everyone, including law-abiding gun owners, somehow they twist it into a "DON'T TAKE MY GUN AWAY!" pi$$ing contest. Change is not always a bad thing. Those who deserve guns will have them. Those who don't..... should have them taken away.

WDW: Alligator reportedly drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon
A fence with proper signage: "BEWARE!! DO NOT ENTER THE WATER OR FEED THE ALLIGATORS" would have been a step in the right direction. If this is the only information to come out, Disney totally dropped the ball on this one & we will not hear of a settlement- but it will certainly be in the 7 digit range.

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
KIC members cannot decide what is: big, small, adult. kiddie, traditional, etc. I highly doubt the average park goer will even care- and that is due to marketing, which Don (and CF as of recently) does very well. Due to numerous discussions waiting in line- most guests have no idea what GCI, RMC, B & M, Intamin are until the type of track is explained. Then you can see the light come on because they are connecting the dots. But getting back to season passes- I don't believe a "traditional" coaster will have a negative/ neutral impact as you believe. Ravine Flyer II at Waldameer in Erie could be labeled as small due to being 2900' with a drop of 115' and max speed of 57mph, but what it does not have in size, it more than makes up for in forces & general fun. I personally believe that customer experience influences season pass sales more than anything. While there will an increase in pass sales for the opening year for any coaster, if park fans get pi$$ed due to long concession lines or crappy customer service you not only lost a season pass sale, but negative press spreads like wildfire- the sale will be a one year thing. So is it fair to say that season pass sales will decrease because of: A) Not a huge coaster to spike sales. Customer service has been lagging this season due to long lines for concessions. No, any coaster will spike sales it's first year due to excellent CF marketing. Yes, negative customer service will decrease season pass sales.

ORLANDO: 50 Dead, 53 Wounded
It is not a silly document and nobody wants to throw it out. You suggested it. Person is singular, people is plural. You want to interpret and single things out, I can too son. The disgusting moment you suggested that there is too much infringement on guns in the same discussion that is on the heels of one of the worst gun massacres in US history by a legally purchased gun proves you have zero sympathy of not only the 49 victims, but for those victims in the numerous massacres that have taken place over the past couple decades. I'm gonna sleep well tonight, I hope you can too.

ORLANDO: 50 Dead, 53 Wounded
People, like militia, means more than one person. Our militia are the armed forces- more than one. Nowhere does it say a single person has the right to have a weapon. But gosh darn, keep insulting the memory of those who have perished at the hands of legally purchased weapons because they want people to defend the rights of the very thing that put them in a grave. Do us a favor, don't attempt to convince us that the victims' rights were not infringed upon. We already know that answer.
-
ORLANDO: 50 Dead, 53 Wounded
Speaking of slippery slopes- instead of only defending part of the 2nd Amendment as you have all day, why not defend it in it's entirety? The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Where does it say that a single individual has the right to bear arms?

ORLANDO: 50 Dead, 53 Wounded
As mentioned earlier:
-
ORLANDO: 50 Dead, 53 Wounded
Because current gun control is working?? Tell that to the families of the 49 victims. Yeah, one of us is looking through rose-colored glasses- Funny how gun advocates try to throw the amendments around, but ignore why the 15th & 19th Amendments needed to be added. Rules, laws, Amendments need to change as society evolves. Believing they cannot be changed is sticking your head in the sand ignoring the real issues.

ORLANDO: 50 Dead, 53 Wounded
More victims at the wrong end of a gun. How many more have to perish before changes are made to help these senseless incidents from happening? Prayers to the victims & families....... These incidents are terrible enough on their own without having to read stupidity like this. 49 innocent people lost their lives due to some raving lunatic. All of those people were in a gun free zone in Orlando. The law already on the books against having a gun (not to mention the law against murder) in that location sure worked well, didn't it? Since you brought it up, what exactly is your solution? So, being "stupid" and all...... inform me, what is considered a "raving lunatic"? Was he not the same "raving lunatic" when approved for the gun purchase? Was he not the same "raving lunatic" when he was scouting potential targets? Was he not the same "RAVING LUNATIC" when the FBI looked into his back round? But some how, this "RAVING LUNATIC" was able to legally purchase a weapon that took the lives of 49 people. Or is he now a "RAVING LUNATIC" because now he took 49 innocent lives? Go ahead, call me stupid for feeling that our gun regulations are way too relaxed. Call me stupid for feeling that gun loopholes that allow weapon purchase at gun shows are non-existent. Go ahead and call me stupid for believing that weapons like the one used were never intended for protection under the 2nd Amendment by our founding fathers. You want to own a gun? Great. Go through protocols similar to owning a car: registration, insurance, yearly gun & yearly mental inspections. And what needs to be added- a stipulation that only the licensed owner can use and access the weapon.

WDW: Alligator reportedly drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon
All nonsense. Florida is gator heaven. That's like living in Oklahoma, being hit by a tornado, and going "well, I never thought of tornadoes unless I saw one, which I did every other week in the Spring". It's tornado alley. Duh! Excellent analogy! The family is from Nebraska...... Even in this updated article an anonymous Disney employee made a comment on how guests, most likely from another state, will feed the gators:

WDW: Alligator reportedly drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon
Wow. Just an insane event. I feel just sick to my stomach just thinking about it. I can understand why the child was allowed in the water, even with the no swimming signs posted. For me: I am from the Northeastern US. When I have visited WDW, I never thought of gators unless I saw one- which I did when taking a pontoon boat from our resort to Downtown Disney. If I saw the no swimming sign, I would have thought no swimming means entering the water above my knees. If my child was simply wading, I would never (until now) thought it would be an issue. Now if a "do not enter the water" sign was posted, or "don't get near the water sign" was posted, then I would never enter the water. This is the violence of nature. Most of us experience it where we live (weather, wild animals etc.). In hindsight-It absolutely could have been prevented, but I cannot blame anyone. Things like this just SU@&.
