Ahhhhh, Ancient Chinese secret!

^ I just found out California Grill is getting shutdown early 2013 for renovations. Glad you can see it open!

At one time, often. Now- never, as I can get more accurate information from 4 different enthusiast sites that generally have integrity.

Teen wary of approaching thunderstorm leaps from chairlift ride at Casino Pier amusement park Read more: http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/teen-wary-approaching-thunderstorm-leaps-chairlift-ride-casino-pier-amusement-park-article-1.1111110#ixzz20UxOTVUg Those chairs were getting blown around pretty good, but I don't think jumping off was smart.

With the exception of the most obvious apparel (i.e.: thongs, bikini tops, whacky tabaccy leaf t-shirt, etc.) I have not seen a dress code enforced. I honestly don't see how they could on a consistant basis. There are so many different walks of life, on vacation, most with a meal plan, it would be practically impossible without causing a daily scene. If you dress park appropriate, there should not be a problem.

Well done on CG! Hoopdedoo Review is fun & if you like seafood, Coral Reef at Epcot. I thoroughly enjoyed the meatloaf @ 50's diner at DS.

If I am not mistaken, there has always been some type of trim going down the hill prior to the helices.
-
^ Absolutely. Just look at the amount of wood vs. steel coasters built over the last 30 years.
-
^ I think it is safe to say, there will never be another coaster associated with the name "Beast". There is also a significant difference between a "loop" and a "rolling inversion".
-
The trim brakes are there for both maintenance issues & ride comfort. Comfort side- Beast, if left untrimmed, is reportably unbearable (this was a comment made back in 1979 during test phase- I unfortunately cannot find the article containing this info). Maintenance side- while Beast (and most other wood coasters) is constantly worked on, if there were no trims, the time & money needed to keep up with issues would increase significantly.
-
^ That is, assuming of course, this is the same repeated issue.

Being a parent of kids near the same age, and knowing how my kids will answer a direct question without being 100% clear, the child may have been with another adult that was not his parent. One can only hope that was the case here. -

^ The whole "TG treatment" is a farce. TG is a brand new coaster with a similar layout to the coaster formerly know as TG.
