The parade last year was really cool - and I am definately going to see this years parade next time I am up. You say its a new soundtrack? Thats cool - but last year's was great too. I used to listen to it over the winter when I needed some cheering up.

Yeah I rode a few weeks ago in 33 and I was in tears. Worst ride on any roller coaster ever. I swore I would not ride Beast again this year... So - I rode last Monday in 12. SMOOTHEST RIDE ON BEAST EVAR!!!11 It was soooooo smooth - and so much fun. I loved it.

Only because you hear virtually no one say "Let's go to Geauga Lake." Period. Sigh. I said that probably about 20 times when I was up at Cedar Point for opening day - then found out it wasn't open yet. Not that it mattered - my group decided we weren't going but didn't know how to break the news to me.

Our button is actually broke - so we do the checkups but according to DTK we don't. A new button has been on order for like 2 months now... Seriously though lets discuss that photo. Could this be the beginning of retheming?

I don't really know anything about this so called "photoshop". If I need print outs I usually just take my memory card up to Wal Mart. Is that what you mean?

I was just wondering if anybody had noticed any signs of Cedar Fair beginning to get rid of the Paramount stuff? I rode the Mini Cooper Test Track - what I believe Cedar Fair is calling Italian Job Stunt Track - the other day and I could hardly believe my eyes...

Apparently. You know Congo Falls counts too. And truthfully - Drop Zone really is more of a coaster than Avatar is. In fact Drop Zone and Face/Off are about equally coasteresque. Why is Drop Zone not a coaster and Face/Off is? Just a judegement call. If you told me Drop Zone was a coaster - I would be like - ok I give you that. But Avatar most definately is not a coaster...

So by your defination Scooby Doo and the haunted castle is an indoor roller coaster. Avatar is as much a roller coaster as Viking Fury is.

Avatar is an amazing ride - but it is a powered tracked flat ride. Face/Off is a coaster because it uses power to give it gravitational potential - but that potential is released while it COASTS. In my definition a tracked ride that uses power only to reach a maximum height from where it coasts under the power of gravity - is a roller coaster. If you think about it all coasters are doing is taking the long route in falling from the top of the lift back to the station. Its like in Toy Story - "falling with style".

No actually it is after you do the flip after the lava pit, and move up for the topspin. Theres a point where youre upside down, and facing the lava pit - and theres like a strobe light that goes off. Thats your photo being taken.

Theres always ways around it. What I did was just go behind Wings and around that way. It is never affected by the Parade - but it takes a couple extra minutes.

I'll see it now that I am "allowed". But I am not expecting anything big from it.

I heard them practicing for it last week. The music at least starts out the same way...

Apparently all the Premier LIM coasters are closing for inspection due to what happened on Chiller-Robin. IJST uses different LIM fins. Are the Inta-LIMS really closed as well?

They play Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson in NU also.

Employees are not allowed to attend audience participation shows or play any games. And that is out of uniform. If you have your work shirt on (even if you are wearing a regular shirt - if your collar is visible) you cannot ride any rides or purchase anything at a park restaurant or gift shop. If you have your work shirt on the only place you can spend money is the Backstage Cafe.
