I met up with Oldschool75 last night around 4:30. Longest wait was maybe 10 minutes for Diamondback. Rode that once, as well as Vortex, Invertigo, Adventure Express, Racer, Woodstock Gliders. Two rides each on Banshee and The Beast. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

I wonder what the likelihood of this is seeing that they just installed an elevator for the International Restaurant Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Okay...driving through Lexington yesterday on the way to Myrtle Beach and I heard a radio spot for KK. Cited USA Today that KK has one of the best waterparks in the United States. So much self worth in that ad. I needed a good laugh yesterday and I got it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The only thing I like about Delirium (and Drop Tower for that matter) is the burst of air you get as they operate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Glad to help. When I purchased my Platinum Pass, the first payment was due when I processed the pass online, which was $24.99. 8 additional payments in the amount of $20 came out for the 8 months that followed, so yes there is an amount due upfront.

Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Working fine for me now. I'll check later on once the park opens to see what the wait times look like.

I closed all running apps and tried reloading, it's still doing this for me. I have an iPhone 6 Plus and have never had an issue with an app running on my phone.

I just updated the app on my iPhone and it is not loading for me. It just goes to the cartoonish version of the skyline. I can make out what looks to be Intimidator, Carolina Skytower, and Fury 325.

http://www.cincinnati.com/story/money/2015/05/17/newport-levee-future/27443925/ 200 ft tall Ferris Wheel could be in the works down by the river. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I'm hoping they have guest speakers of this caliber next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Based on what I saw from numerous KIC users on Facebook, looks like I missed a great event., especially Dennis Spiegel talking about the history of the park. If there's a similar event taking place next year, you can bet I'll be there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

First I've heard of it myself. I've yet to ride Banshee this year. How does it affect the ride itself? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Kings Dominion ride removal / 2016 coaster addition?
Hoeter replied to Tr0y's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I think a B&M hyper may be a good fit. If it's anything like Diamondback or Carowinds' Intimidator, it would be extremely re-rideable and appeal to the masses To be honest, when I first saw I-305 it intimidated the hell out of me and that's no joke. I was at Kings Dominion the Sunday of Independence Day weekend and it was no more than a station wait. Turned out to be one of my top coasters and I was able to ride 6 times back to back as a result of the short lines. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Kings Dominion ride removal / 2016 coaster addition?
Hoeter replied to Tr0y's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I will say the Hurler at KD is possibly the second roughest wooden coaster I've ever been on, Son of Beast of course holds the top spot. Hurler at Carowinds was a much more tolerable experience last season, thanks to retracking. If it came down to Hurler or Shockwave being removed, I'd say TIMBER! -
I was at the park for a little while Saturday evening. Ended up riding The Bat which was a 15 minute wait, checked the interactive map and verified correct after the fact. Headed towards the exit and checked the wait time for Banshee on the board. It called the wait time at 30 minutes. 5 minutes prior all queues were full. Line had to be 45 plus minutes. Great concept but still in its infancy at the park. Cannot wait for the update to the mobile app to show wait times! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why do some parks have height restrictions?
Hoeter replied to CoasterDirected's topic in Kings Island
If you want eerie, try riding Thunder Run at Kentucky Kingdom while a plane is coming in for a landing. I could practically see faces in the windows of the plane!I'd would be up for a trip down to Kentucky Kingdom to see this first hand! That is, if they let me in! YOU SHALL NOT PASS. Here's my two cents... The Beast and The Racer: the middle row of each car is the smoothest as you are not in a wheel seat. I prefer front row on night rides. Diamondback: Row 2, either seat Banshee: 8-4 is my go-to seat on Banshee, honorable mention for 1-4. Vortex: 5-1 is a good ride. The first drop in 7-1 still takes me by surprise each time I ride it. The Bat: 7-1 is my go-to seat. Flight of Fear: Front row, every time Backlot Stunt Coaster, Invertigo, Firehawk: The red Ford Focus in the parking lot.

I remember this park. I remember going on the Dragon Coaster and throwing a huge temper tantrum. I despised roller coasters with a fire breathing passion back then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Trip Report: KD 4/10, BGW 4/11, SFGAdv 4/12, and BGT 4/15
Hoeter replied to zacc1993's topic in Trip Reports
Seeing a LOT of people on here and on my Facebook visiting BGT and BGW. I'm wanting to visit both parks BADLY, especially for the behind the scenes experience. Homestar92 posted a pic on his Facebook at the top of Griffon and I wouldn't mind taking part at some point. Also, return visits to NJFTP and KD are on the radar. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
