I wish I lived closer to Kings Island.

I'd love to know how many years out they already have plans for.

I think it was cool of them to add this bit of extra mystique to the ride (from visitkingsisland.com):

1. I would start my day early by drinking a cup of coffee while walking through the park, talking to the maintenance staff. 2. After having run the Color Me Pink 5k, I would start a monthly race series at Kings Island, starting on opening day, and finishing during Haunt. 3. Have some sort of private club on International Street a la Disney World. 4. Look into having parts of Kings Island open 12 months a year. 5. Putting a dark ride into the building housing BBOBH that's at least on par with the rest of the park. 6. More upscale dining/shopping options. 7. Look into a true "Kings Island hotel".

Haha, it does look broken, but it's not. I actually used it during the Color Me Pink 5k this year. A couple seasons ago I decided to look for a Kings Island fanny pack since that's about the only place I use one. I can't remember which store I found it at…may have been one of the merchandise carts by the fountains at the entrance.

I don't always wear a fanny pack, but when I do, it's a Kings Island branded one. Stay nifty, my friends.

I think we all need to do a virtual "standing ovation" for this one!!

How about shirts (or iron on patches) that display "veteran" status of some of the famous threads…"Rumor Coaster 2009", "What's next for Son of Beast", or "Starting to Decode 2014". Maybe they could be like cub scout pins that could be handed out during KIC events...

Steel Racer Giga style! that would be awesome That was a thought I had sometime last year. Taking the place of SoB, along with FD, AE, and Racer would be a massive, new steel "Racer". Two 300 foot lift hills, starting near the parking lot running past where Racer ends now...

Good thing we have Kings Island. Frontier World Central just doesn't have the same ring to it.

I hope they're there a long time! I think Dinosaurs Alive is one of the most impressive things I've seen at Kings Island.

I love The Beast and Flight Deck. I guess my perfect coaster would be a combination of the two. Low to the ground, going through the trees, and long!

I think the Bier Garten remodel has gotten kind of overlooked this season with everything else going on, but it does look amazing.

I think I'm a little different when it comes to being freaked out about rides. If I walked into Kings Island right now and walked up to DT, I'd be like "no way"!! Freaks me out just to look at it. However, I've ridden it twice (still can't believe that), and I wasn't the slightest bit bothered either time I rode it.

I looked at Kings Island's operating schedule, and I may be wrong, but this is an unusual date for the park to be open…a week after Labor Day weekend, and the park closed for a private event on the Friday and Saturday before. Very cool! Possibly the best weather of the year is during early September, and have always wished the park was open during that time.

I never got around to doing a TR, so I thought I'd make a video. That was a really fun event, especially for someone who enjoys running AND Kings Island. Also had a chance to talk to Greg Scheid at the Reds Grille!!
