    I just read up on Six Flags' Flash Pass system, and it doesn't seem to offer near the access to rides as Fast Lane does.

    I am actually kind of shocked that Cedar Fair didn't (or didn't try to) conclude that a large enough percentage of non-Fast Lane guests (enough to hurt their business, anyway) may share a perception similar to yours…

    I think that when the park makes an announcement about Son of Beast, it should be made by someone dressed in a Dippin' Dots uniform.

    Great pics and thanks for sharing. Are you always able to get up that close and personal with KIs entrance when it's closed?

    I've read posts that say that Fast Lane has been implemented with little or no overhead...those new FL entrances the park has shown on Twitter sure don't look particularly inexpensive.

    Yeah, they need to sell polos. I would definitely wear a KI polo to work occasionally. Oh, and bucket hats...great to block out the sun.

    In the older pictures of the park I've seen, it almost looks like you're kind of walking through the woods in some areas.

    I think most people think that way at the beginning of their day. Imagine the money the park could make by somehow making that walk to your car at the end of the day a little shorter or easier "somehow"...D'oh! I shouldn't be giving them ideas!

    I don't doubt, that for a lot of people, they wouldn't visit the watermark without a way to have a little bit of seclusion. Not everybody wants to or is comfortable with just throwing a towel down and hanging out in their swimsuit. Plus, I'm sure with kids, it would make it really nice to have one of these. Having said that, me personally, I would like the cabana, but I'm fine with riding the train over, throwing my sandals and shirt in the grass, and riding the slides.

    I like Festhaus and watching a show while I eat. Also, Hank's Back Porch Bar is a real gem at the park.

    That's a shame. It's always looked like a neat place as I go by on my way to KI. Unfortunately, when I'm making the trip, the choice has always been between that or Kings Island...well, you can probably guess which one always wins.
