  1. That's kind of sad. I guess they really like catering to the type that overplans their day... 12:05 Meet Mickey 12:10 Buy shirt for Johnny 12:37 Ride Space Mountain 12:41 Clean vomit off of Johnny's new shirt 12:46 Go to restroom etc... I always thought character greetings were more of a spontaneous thing- "Hey, let's go see Mickey!", not "Hey, it's 1:07, better hurry up across the park to see Mickey at his scheduled time!" Oh well, what do I know.
  2. You messed up your line breaking. I read "select days" as meaning holidays and occasional weekends.
  3. I'm glad he's boycotting the rides, as it'll mean a shorter wait for all the reasonable people.
  4. Sportacopters used to go a different route?
  5. The first thing I noticed in that video is that all the edge lights on the International Street buildings were working... although KI seems to be doing better on those than Disney- I was amazed how many of the lights like that were out at the Grand Floridian. They must be really tough to take care of. Hopefully someday they'll have LED lights there!
  6. CW seems to have customized theirs more (the banner at the top, for example). Maybe CW management simply doesn't want a new one yet?
  7. But the main purpose of a gold pass is unlimited visits to the park and free parking. The main purpose is not ERT. It's like asking for a refund on a hotel room because, while the hotel has a pool, spa, tennis courts, a running path, and a bowling alley, you don't like the color of the wallpaper in the hallway.
  8. I have no problem with someone getting a refund on a pass, as long as their name is blocked from purchasing another season pass that season. Besides, I'm sure the free parking isn't a benefit of the gold pass, right? If you were going to downgrade to a regular pass for some reason, wouldn't it end up costing *more* since you'd have to pay for parking? Gold Pass: $100 Regular Pass: $95 + Parking for ONE VISIT: $10 = $105 Sooo... the gold pass is cheaper. I guess I just don't get the problem here. It's STILL A BETTER DEAL. http://tickets.visit...season_pass.cfm I have to say, I'm glad to see The Beast off of ERT. It never seemed to be open when I could go for ERT.
  9. I highly doubt they would open the entire park for ERT, as I'm sure there are things they do in the morning that they prefer to be out of the view of guests.
  10. So, if someone were to buy a season pass today hoping that they'd get Vortex and WindSeeker ERT, you think it would be okay for them to change it?
  11. There's also something that says information posted on the website is subject to change.
  12. I doubt the GP cares much, since Diamondback rarely has really long lines anymore and most of them don't complain about every thing the park does.
  13. I doubt they'd add two ERT rides, since that would require opening almost the whole park.
  14. I doubt many outside of the enthusiast community care. I'm sure they would appreciate extra time on the new ride...
  15. Because I'm sure nobody bought a gold pass for free parking, but only ERT on an aging wooden coaster which doesn't run half the time for ERT and a coaster which tends to have short waits anyway.
  16. I thought it was in Coney Mall in the Attitudes/Massacre Manor building.
  17. I doubt it'll go away. You know an event draws a lot of people when the poor employees have to park on the grass and take a bus to get to the park...
  18. I'm 99% certain I see "site plan". Maybe it says "WindSeeker"? I kinda can make out an R in it. Btw, I see WindSeeker's queue shape...
  19. "_______ Site Plan"?
  20. I don't think they consider that area part of Coney Mall proper.
  21. I hate the public. Hey, everyone- THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS ANYMORE. Remember getting awesome nachos as a kid at Taco Bell with your kids meal? NOPE! Not anymore, thanks to awesome people like this who want to make a quick buck! Seriously, is nacho cheese supposed to be cold? If I had nacho cheese that was just slightly warm, I would bring it back and complain. I guess this is why in 10 years parks will just sell freaking cold cuts. Can you see these kinds of people really strike a nerve with me?
  22. I think it might be a topography map. Perhaps something that has to do with drainage for WindSeeker? And besides, they wouldn't tease a 2012 ride this early. It would encourage people not to visit the park until next season, which I'm sure they don't want.
  23. Getting into another CF park with an employee ID is frustrating, too. I had no problems my first day at CP. My second day, the associate in GR had clearly never seen a KI ID before, even after I explained the log book I needed to sign... oh, well. (I can't even think of why Gate Central would randomly reject one pass. I can see why they thought it wasn't the computer's fault, because they probably had never seen it happen before, but still... after comparing the name on the pass with a driver's license or something I would let the guest in...)
  24. I wouldn't mind seeing the water tower stay if they repainted it and put the new KI logo on it. (the one that doesn't look so corporate)
  25. If I were the admissions associate, I wouldn't have let that poster in either, I would have gotten a supervisor... Gate Central is rarely wrong about the status of a ticket.
