Even if they didn't need an elevator to inspect WindSeeker an elevator would be helpful for when they have to change the lightbulb at the top. I can't imagine that being a fun job otherwise...

I once heard someone call the train the "Dippin' Dots ride".
-
My prediction: RaptorGuy will complain about it.

If you owned CF, how would you operate it?

His picture should be posted in the operator booth so they can make him get out of line if he tries to ride. It's like Kings Island's Most Wanted. -
I can't imagine it isn't really annoying for them. And it might lead to those stupid "games" where people try to stand up when their end of the ship is in the air.

I believe it's the platform at the top of the ride. You can see the railing that's visible in the renderings. -
I know, surprised me too.

...Fourth of July.* And that just made my day. (*talking about the registers going down, not the other stuff) -

I would rather they pick something totally new. Often it feels as if the Micros registers are working against you and not with you, especially the manual push-button style. "Magnetic card is the wrong type." "Employee ID not found." "Sending guest check." "Computing CRC list." *register locks up for 5min* *scream* Also, it should not take a phone call to turn on a register that was accidentally shut off. Picking something totally new (and hopefully touch screen) would be really nice. Or upgrading the existing registers so that they were more user-friendly. -

RaptorGuy, what's "Ghost Manor"? -
Once you go in the associate entrance (on Western Row Rd), you drive straight until you can park. It has a glass front entry door and a huge sign that says "HUMAN RESOURCES". You can't miss it.

Ah, guys, of course KINGSISLANDMASTER would know this stuff. Everyone in Food and Beverage attends rides training, right? And he didn't even work there a whole season, he "quit". (then had a very suspicious grudge against the park, which seems to have been erased from here, which doesn't line up with the quitting story)

The thing is, that mistake could easily be fixed with a Sharpie, so I can't imagine that they wouldn't try to fix it if it were a mistake.
-
Both times I've asked, I was told that it was intentional. Who knows.
-
Fun Fact: Kings Island has decided to charge a $5 upcharge for putting an apostrophe in its name.

Except if you actually read what I said, I said I didn't mean the observation deck. If you look at a aerial photo of the Eiffel Tower, you can see there's a small balcony above the place where the bars that enclose the observation deck connect to the upper structure.
-
Does maintenance stay up there whenever the ride is operating? Does a ride op stay at the very top (not the observation deck) of Eiffel Tower whenever it's open?

They said on Facebook that the exit will be the new entrance. -
Because the railing is much lower, I doubt it's a very large platform, and it's far more difficult to get to and from.
-
There's no way they would require that. For one thing, it's really dangerous.
-
Where did you read that?
-
I want one of those shirts.
-
Unless it's changed from last season, no.

I'm actually *very* glad it's a walkthrough and not a ridethrough. Since you're walking, you can stop to take pictures and take as much time as you want looking at the displays. A ridethrough runs at a set speed and doesn't give opportunities for you to take pictures with the displays, etc.
