  1. Firehawk is really the only ride that gets super huge lines, and you can avoid those if you're smart. So, no, especially since something like Flash Pass at SF would make the lines longer for everyone else.
  2. If you hate the park so much, perhaps you should stop going.
  3. Are you ever happy with ANYTHING Kings Island does?
  4. I hadn't even thought of that- now I wonder if it'll be an upcharge.
  5. I saw it today. I think they added some landscaping around the dinosaur?
  6. If you have a cell phone in its case on a carabiner, you need to make sure that the cell phone case stays shut during the ride.
  7. ok, lol, like I said I didn't know how true it was. As for friday, do u think they actually could be working on sob and teasing us with other things making us think it is a dino walkthrough? (credit to whoever originally posted this, I can't remember? Gordon Bombay, thanks Terpy, lol)
  8. The main reason I don't think this is a museum exhibit type thing is that, would they really pave a brand new path and clear so many trees for something temporary?
  9. Doesn't it seem slightly dino-shaped? I can sort of make out a neck, torso, and the beginning of the tail?
  10. If it were about SoB, the hints wouldn't nearly all be about an area in Coney Mall, unless they're moving SoB.
  11. I have never found visits to KI on a weekday to be very crowded. I love driving down there after school- even Firehawk was walk-on sometimes.
  12. I kind of doubt they'll install a Setpoint. Exhibit A:
  13. I did *not* know that was there! I will most definitely have to make a visit there next time I'm in Sandusky.
  14. I got some on sale a while ago at the Van Heusen outlet, they've worked really well, and they have multiple zippered pockets.
  15. It was something the German club brought in, not something the school brought in. I can't imagine if the school made it- it might be worse than their chicken barfesan. What I'm saying is that I doubt German food would be more popular than pizza and Chinese food. Just a guess.
  16. Or, she volunteered to do it so they reopened the blog. The Facebook posts always seem to have a lot of comments- far more than I ever have seen on the blog entries.
  17. If Festhaus smelled like sauerkraut, I would never step foot in there again. I remember the time they had sauerkraut at my school and everyone thought the sewer had backed up.
  18. 6. They're trying to mess with enthusiasts who like to start rumors.
  19. I think I see Action Theater, behind about halfway up WindSeeker's tower. There's something that looks like it has an Action Theater shaped roof. WindSeeker's circle of swings is at the top of the tower, so that's not what that is.
  20. Unless something really changes this season, the website isn't nearly as helpful as you may think. Check out the Meet our CEO page, it seems a bit confused about just what park he's meeting...
  21. You get the guidebook when you process or during your training. Unless, of course, rides is like food, where you never get the department one.
  22. And this is why I think anyone who complains about something unreasonable and asks for free stuff should be banned from the property. There's some customers not worth having- if all they are going to do is complain, their money might not be worth the stress it causes for Guest Relations and the employees. There's a lot of companies where I don't think realize that managers overruling the employees makes the employee unhappy. If I say no to something which policy says we can't do, and one of the managers comes up behind me and says I should do it, it makes me look like an idiot in front of the guest. I don't think anyone appreciates that. For example, a guest once asked me to give him water in a Coke cup, which we aren't allowed to do unless they buy it as a soft drink. Don't ask me why, but I'm paid to follow the rules that the park makes. Then, one of the managers comes up behind me and apologizes to the guest for my "attitude" (EXCUSE ME?), and gave him a 32oz cup of water, then says "Sorry" to me and walks away. Sometimes, the customer does, in fact, need to be told that they're wrong... politely, of course, but still...
  23. There's some cases where I think guests need to learn that they need to be polite, too. I refuse to be polite to someone who just accused me of stealing money from a small child, or someone who calls me an "stupid idiot" because she didn't realize a free drink wristband got her free drinks. We aren't punching bags. I wouldn't be obviously rude, but I'm certainly not going to say "Thank you, have a nice day!" after someone insults me.
