  1. If I were the admissions associate, I wouldn't have let that poster in either, I would have gotten a supervisor... Gate Central is rarely wrong about the status of a ticket.
  2. I'm fairly sure that $6 cups of Coke cannot be found at KI.
  3. I've never had someone at KI say I couldn't get into ERT. They say in orientation that it's the "same as a platinum pass", which includes the ERT.
  4. Oh, please tell me this guy isn't real. I have a bit of a KI wall in my room, but that's mostly stuff from last summer...
  5. The main benefit is that you get into the park for free when you aren't working. You also can get into other Cedar Fair parks for free.
  6. From that angle I thought it looked like a flag kinda. Guess not.
  7. I can't be the only one who noticed the little flag over the "i" in Kings, not unlike today's logo...
  8. (I assume this is the correct forum for this...) Not much else to say about what this thread is. Here's mine: 5. Journey Into Your Imagination '99- Yes, I don't hate this ride. I actually think it's quite a bit more clever than the current version (although it did have some "interesting" music). I love the room with the stars. Far better than... skunk smell... 4. Dreamflight (Magic Kingdom)- I loved this ride as a kid. The song was so catchy! 3. Journey Into Imagination- I loved this ride too. The last scene was awesome. I miss that ride. 2. Forbidden Journey- I don't know, is this a dark ride? I guess so. And it's awesome. 1. Spaceship Earth '94- I love the music from this version of SSE. Especially from the girl and boy on the laptop to the end, it's a great soundtrack. Also, the finale scene with the Crystal City was awesome. I miss it a lot. And, the 3 worst... 3. Journey Into Your Imagination '02- Ugh. This ride has gotten REALLY horrible. Last time I rode it, the projectors barely worked, and part was missing sound, and the parts that did have sound were usually out of sync. 2. Clammobiles at The Living Seas- (does this ride have a name??) The first time I rode this, I kept trying to look ahead to see when I could see into the aquarium. It was... disappointing. 1. Spaceship Earth '07- Bleh. Judy Dench's narration combined with the wreck they call a finale ruined it.
  9. You may take away my enthusiast card. At first look, I thought that might be Time Warp at CW. *turns red*
  10. Yes, you *all* do need gold passes to get into the early entry. Also, I believe the gold pass discount for Rivertown Junction/Breakfast with the Characters/Backyard BBQ tickets requires that each person with a discounted ticket has a gold pass, but I'm not sure about that one. Really, I think the main downside would be not all being able to use early entry (keep in mind that, if it's like last year, The Beast and Diamondback open early for gold passholders).
  11. It was SO neat when they flipped the track upside down to make it an inverted coaster, eh?
  12. Because I'm sure they don't want the entire line spilling out onto the midway like a cheap carnival.
  13. I'm sure that there'd be a extra $1 surcharge for RC cola
  14. Well, if guests were standing up, which I have no doubt they were (and on other rides, too: on Universe of Energy, they had constant reminders about the length of the ride, and how you could NOT leave after the ride started...), then they are probably necessary. I'm actually surprised they weren't addeda while ago.
  15. CedarPointer, hoping someone gets it... But seriously, I don't really see the problem here. It seems that everyone thinks that Disney is constantly going downhill. Which, in some cases, it is (I almost cried going on Spaceship Earth and seeing all the show scenes on the descent replaced by Christmas lights and an Esurance commercial), but not every decision they make is bad... If you owned a business, wouldn't you want to take additional opportunities for profit?
  16. I know that. I'm saying that, for what Disney charges for tickets, they should be keeping all the rides open until the park is actually closed, or just be honest and say Future World pretty much closes at 7. (also, I can think of a few CM's I've seen who were more rude than anyone I've dealt with at a CF park, ever, but I really don't feel like writing a whiny post to which I'm sure all the replies will be BUT THEY HAZ TEH THEMING!!!1)
  17. This wasn't at 9:30 PM like the times guide says it closes, it was at about 7:30. (sorry, I actually hadn't looked at the schedule, but it turns out it was even earlier before closing than I thought...)
  18. There are many things that Disney does better than KI. In fact, I'd bet that Disney makes far more money than KI. But, somehow, KI manages to keep almost all the rides open until park closing. This cannot be said about Disney, where we left over an hour before Epcot's park closing, and in Future World, our only choices of attractions was Spaceship Earth, The Living Seas, and Soarin'. Amazing. (There might have been one other thing, but I can't recall it...)
  19. It's not as if the step isn't there. It's there, and it's 100% HER fault for missing it.
  20. Hits: The Beast, Diamondback, The Racer, Back Lot Stunt Coaster, Vortex, Nickelodeon Universe, Tomb Raider The Ride, Boo Blasters Misses: Son of Beast, The Crypt, Planet Snoopy, The Bat (from a technical standpoint)
  21. If it's been 5 years and some people haven't gotten over not having an apparently unprofitable event, it may be time to get help.
  22. I seem to be failing to figure out why HER missing a step is CP's fault.
