What if we compound that and make us (the guests) ghost hunters! We already have a haunted shed people are trespassing and exploring.

IndyGuy4KI replied to Klabergian Empire's topic in Kings Island
They have grown a little since that picture. -
Very vaguely.

Here’s a rare sight: Diamondback with no splashdown
IndyGuy4KI replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
I am not sure that should be an issue with all the rain we have been getting. -
It sure seems like a lot of money spent on custom soundtracks and theming for it to not be used very long.

So there is SOB, Original Bat, Firehawk, King Cobra, Demon, & Skyride. Is that all correct?

Thanks for sharing @Lakota88. Trip reports were always my favorite forum on KIC. I sure hope more members share their trips this season!

The interactive screens are very expensive sticker holders. Let's fire those puppies back up!

They read the forums, we don't have a KIC blog.

I love this topic. I even started a Wildlife gallery on the main site a few years ago. If you would like to include any pics taken for the gallery, please add Gallery in your post and I will add it there. Gallery link: https://kicentral.com/photos/kings-island-wildlife

What kind of wood does Mystic Timbers use?
IndyGuy4KI replied to Diamondsback's topic in Kings Island
Can we even consider the track anymore with all the different types of engineered woods they are using these days? -
What kind of wood does Mystic Timbers use?

This is from the original information when it was released. "The ride contains 330,000 board feet of southern yellow pine lumber." -
The KITunes From KIExtreme Moves to KICentral
IndyGuy4KI replied to IndyGuy4KI's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
That would be a @malem question. Can you answer this Malem? -
KICentral was started back in 2003 by Dane Thomas as a dedicated website to host pictures he took at Kings Island. Fast forward to 2022, KICentral is still a very active forum and continues to add to its main site the park news, and document the history of Kings Island. Media Director Brad Perdue for KICentral spent hundreds of hours over the last few years updating and reformatting the site's historical timeline (thanks to the help from KI historian members) and updating other pages on the main site. He continues to add thousands of pictures to its picture galleries every season so KICentral has a good collection of Kings Island history documented in picture format. KICentral is a unique park website as it not only has an extensive collection of past park history, but continues to document Kings Island as events and changes happen in real-time. After KIE decided to close the doors on KIExtreme, they were gracious enough to share with us their collection of pictures and park audio they called KITunes. KICentral has now built a page with the KITunes audio files and they can be found on our main site under the Park History menu called Past & Present Park Audio. https://kicentral.com/parkhistory/past-present-park-audio/. We have imported all of the pictures as well, but being such an extensive collection it will take us some time to integrate them into the active galleries you see on our main site. If you have old pictures or audio files you wish to share with KIC, you can submit them here: https://kicentral.com/kic-photo-submission/ KICentral thanks every one of you for your continued support of our website and your contribution to the forums!

I would like to add, KIC loves to see so many other socal channels that are out there sharing their love of KI. I have meet and am friends with many of them, like the Season Pass Holder page. Justin at CPFood blog, Buckeye Coasters, FYE, Coaster Crew and others. All a bunch of great people that we should all work together to share our love for the park and the industry.

Man, you lose faith in the site because I wasn't there to cover CoasterStock? Like you just said, KIC offers something a social site can not. The list of history, pics, and information on the main site. Then the forums with such a rich content of site user perspective and insite. I still add hundreds of pics every month when the park is open to our galleries. Update main site content (new page coming out this week I created last week.) We are active on social as well. The site is still getting a lot of site traffic every week. If I have anything to say about it, KIC it's not going anywhere any time soon. There is to much here to loose.

I'm sorry, I was not able to get to tickets this year. I had the website problem of not ever getting the buy link. By the time I got it up the event was sold out. Sort of hard to cover an event if you are not there.

I reached out as KIC too and got crickets. This is never a good look. I was not investing anything, I just wanted validation of it's removal when pics started showing up. To me, stopping any crazy theories at the beginning is best, but what do I know? I just help run the parks fan site.

That is correct. Gold pass holders leave and come back all the time. Should not be an issue.
