No, the cost to bring it down is going to be a lot more than its scrap value. I am sure the value of the scrap is going to be taken out of the cost of the demo.

Replace a low capacity ride with an even lower capacity ride. That is a pass for me. To fill the wheel gap, let's put a smaller one in Planet Snoopy with a nice LED package.

Let me correct a few things for you: 1) its not illegal to fly a drone (or a plane) over KI, as KI doesn't own the air space. I believe this point has been put to rest multiple times. 2) KI does not want drones flying over their property, even during off hours to protect guests and employees that are below said drone. If there is a drone accident someone could be seriously hurt or worse. 3) KI has respectfully requested KICentral not promote drone footage and encourage their use due to point #2. 4) KI Central admin agreed to this request from KI and KIC admin made an update to the TOS. Side Notes: There may be some drone operators that are highly trained and very skilled at flying a drone. The concern (for me at least) are those that are going to risk safety by getting to close to things to get the perfect shot to share. Then you have those that decide to spend the money on a drone and do not know what they are doing at all, and could be potentially putting peoples lives at risk. All so they can share a photo others have not seen on social media? The KIC admin (and I would hope all of its members) would want safety to be at the forefront of its decisions. Just like we want to know KI is doing everything they can to promote a safe environment while at the park. Even if it is not illegal or against their personal thoughts on the matter. Not everything has to be illegal to do what is right.

I do agree, in this day and age the park should know this is going to happen. What will be the next technology that comes out to make it even easier to get aerial pictures of the park? It will not get easier for the park, only harder. Like @silver2005said, at this point everyone know it's is going to happen. If the park has no legal ground to stop them, like it or not, the park has to adapt and plan ahead. Just like when phones got video and photo capabilities. The park had to make adjustments, now they have to do the same for drones and whatever comes next.

We would probably know a lot more about the project by now, but the surprise got ruined by someone with a toy.

The tools they use at KI to release the restrains by hand if they have to on the PTC's. Some of the ride ops use them to make sure you have your 2 clicks as well.

I could be wrong, but I thought the rides needed 3 points of safety. On out PTC's 2 clicks on the lap bar and the seat belt equals the 3. On DB and Orion you have the 3 clicks on the shell restraints to get the 3. (Remember DB ran without seat belts for quite some time.)

I think we can put those rumors to bed from this tweet alone. There really is no reason to send the trains out to be rebuilt. The same exact work gets done at the park. The parks that send out their trains don’t have the facility to do that kind of offseason work.

This is a cool idea. Here is mine. Some more of these I will get covered when I take my kids. Had to many family events to go last weekend. I do plan on a family event or 2 when they hit daily operations!

You have to remember the dates, times, and count of rides to qualify.

I am confused by your post. I never mentioned GG and you said it sounds the first drop and helix is getting reprofiled, which was part of my question. So, since you feel there will be some reprofiling, I will ask what does this mean? Will we see more speed, airtime, trims removed, etc. That is the discussion that interest me. Hearing what people think will change/improve with the ride.

We have discussed the pic rules. Let's move on to what this means for the ride experience. Will we see some reprofiling, airtime, new elements?
