What if they tear up the road and reroute it to a new location while keeping and fixing the old road.... See Route 40?

I dont disagree at all. Its just sometimes it helps to have an outside opinion that differs from the consensus. I tend to do that around here. Probably more than needed. But it helps to keep discussions balanced....

On one hand, the op and the area supervisor appear to do their job by the letter of the book. No pass no entrance. On the other hand, they should have either escorted your group to have it taken care of or bring someone who can. But whats to stop someone from from using their stamps, saying they lost it and re-entering with the rest of the crew at a later time. Whats right isnt always fair, whats fair isnt always right.

At the beginning of the season the area looked great. Same with it again sometime around July. It could just very well be that its near the end of a long season of kids touching/playing with the Dinos. Heck the dino near the baby station had its tail ripped off at one point over the summer but it was fixed within 2 weeks. So maybe its just worn down. As for some of the buttons, I did notice at the beginning of the year, some of the dinos had limited use of the buttons. It could be that its possibly just getting older, or it needs constant maintenance. They are out in all kinds of weather. I could never get the timing right for the motion sensors. I was either much to early (following a group) to set off the sensor again, or walked up to the group much to late for the dino to just be ending its motion cycle.

$12.99 for season pass holders. Thats actually not a bad price for the food and one free trip to the front. Very cool addition for no more than the price of a combo....

Try Modern Family, The Middle, Last Man Standing, Big Bang Theory.... Just to name a few sitcoms

Angry much? -
It is impressive, the transformation that happened at KK. Hopefully it lasts. I know there are quite a few thousands and thousands of people who would have loved for this to have happened at Americana and Geuga Lake....

School starts Wednesday August 12! That is the reason for the closure. Where did you find the calender? Isnt school in session right now? Isnt KI open (weekends) till like November?

That means the park had, on average, about 6,400 guests per day in the park. http://www.mynews13.com/content/news/cfnews13/on-the-town/article.html/content/news/articles/cfn/2014/6/3/theme_park_attendance.html Take it for what it is, which means it may not be or is true, but it states that KI in 2013 has 3.2 Million visitors...

Exactly I said something similar in the other thread. Do what makes you happy and that's what counts (within reason it's a good motto for life.). I sometimes wish I counted which rides I rode but to be honest very few have stood out to me: Beast, Banshee, Griffin, Hollywood Rip Ride, Big Bad Wolf, Hulk, Harry Potter, TTD...... That's about it
-
At the end of the day, you count it the way you want to count it. Who cares how you do it? It is an interesting concept. But when does something cease being what it was and becomes something new. Many people will buy a classic car, yank off the id plates, strip the car down to the frame, rebuild the frame, then rebuild the entire car using new or remanufactored pieces, slap the original id badges on the car, and claim it as the same vehicle.... I will say its a different ride because the park states it's a different ride. The experience will be different and that's enough for me.

I disagree I really don't think the GP noticed the wrong coasters. Heck most locals couldn't tell you the difference between coasters.

vintage KI parking signs at Cinci Comic Expo last weekend

DO you know how much he had on them? I might be interested in one.... -
Honestly I have never kept track of rides and will probably never do so. Too much work for my brain. However, a ride moving with the same trains to another place shouldn't be different. However , when a ride changes trains which drastically changes the ride experience, then well it should probably be a new credit. We are not talking taking a suspended Arrow and giving it a floorless, or changing from 4 rows to 3. We are talking stand up to sit down. Different ride completely, IMHO.

Maybe this is only in theater, but I love going opening night. Yes it has some kinks, but the actors are fresher. They feed off the audience. Usually mid runs are boring as the actors grow tired...
-
Then in theory, you could only count FoF one time, no matter where you rode it, or any other cloned rides anywhere else right? I mean its the same track layout just in different place.....

Lets put it this way. If you never rodE Mantis, would you say you did just because you rode Rog...
