  1. On Friday the Undertaker was talking to a group of girls. One said you are ugly and he jumped at her and said "I have on make up, what's your excuse!" Lol
  2. 1. If the park markets this as a way to avoid getting scared, and people scare you... I am sure there will be a long line of very very angry people demanding to talk to managers. So Im going to guess that you will not be scared by an actor while wearing this. 2. people drag friends to come with them to these things even though they are not haunt type of people. 3. some people enjoy night riding their favorite coasters and rides. So maybe they ride while others go to haunts....
  3. On the way out last night, around 10:15/10:30, KI police were responding to something just near the drop off area. On the road side there were 3 police cars, 2 life squads, and a fire truck. Looked like a van was catywombus near the sign. Hope no one got seriously injured and maybe we should say a prayer for them
  4. They are like on the same side of the park when compared to the water park
  5. Does a place like Disney constantly replace and remake their animatronics or is it a constant Maintenon thing? ( I'm think Pirates, presidents, etcetera)
  6. Maybe I'm naive but..... If you over state a wait time and it's less than that you have a very happy customer base, versus going the other way
  7. Well could the unreliable creaky ness of them be attributed to poor upkeep?
  8. We left as the rain opened up right around 10. We went with a group through Corn Stalkers. The whole group entered and went right, which is not part of the haunt. We went left and had some of the truly best scares of the entire evening. Haunt is very well done. Great details great scarectors, everything.
  9. Saw the Fireplace tonight at Slaughter House ... Looks to be in a bit of rough condition
  10. I would bet it's the same reason some people enjoy standing at the top of a cliff and some enjoying jumping off of it. Some enjoy flying in an airplane and some enjoy skydiving.... Some of us don't want to be near any sort of fake/real situation where a life may be in danger, and some love it. Psychologically speaking, it's a moment (any of the previous examples) of stepping out of the safe into a, perceived, unsafe zone. While subconsciously you know you are 100% safe, it still rises your fear bits. Gets the endorphins pumping, etcetera. Some enjoy rides with inversions and some enjoy the antique cars. You could write a PhD thesis on the science behind fear....
  11. I always assumed the last ghost Boocifer is a refit of the original Maestro.
  12. Oh my only thought on the price point for on site being more expensive is that the manual labor involved would be more expensive matching the ride versus B&M having a Mach one make theirs... But you all are probably right
  13. I'm putting on my thinking hat here... Could it be that since Arrow had a tendency to bend the track on site, that it would be harder and more expensive to replace a piece of arrow track versus say a B&M track?
  14. Don't get confused by what he is saying KI has a bunch of land but, there are major grade changes in land, etc.
  15. Im no saying I expect a ride to stay forever (however, do look at Disney's Haunted Mansion), but to have a great themed ride that was very well done (Enchanted Voyage) to be replaced by another very well done ride (Smurf's Enchanted Voyage) to have that replaced by a very well done People Mover ride (Phantom Theater) and a stage, to have those replaced with a haunt and an also ran retro fit of Scooby Doo to the dethemed version of it to be come Boo Blasters, just makes me sad. The layout is still the same for Boo Blasters that it was for Phantom right?
  16. As others have stated it was really a great ride. You knew the story because the ride actually told a story. The animatronics interacted with the guests and each other. There were sight gags and moments where they tried to scare you. The music that played along with the ride set the tone. Even the Phantom that met you was unique and added to the theme.
  17. Well I mean to be brutally honest if I removed all of the useable stuff out of my car, then crushed it, I would have a hard time selling it as well
  18. You know the more I ride BBoBH the more sad I get. Having never ridden it as Scooby it's just a guess but the current ride is just heap looking. You can see it parts where it's still Scooby Doo without Scooby. Heck the cars are still painted to resemble mystery machines. Not to mention that the ride still follows the same exact path as Phantom. So not only do we get to endure a poorly done rehab of a ride, those of us who logged hundreds (if not thousands) of laps with the Phantom can close our eyes and still feel/see/hear/smell the original. Step right this way, libel now..... Watch out for the furnace crew..... Look at the wonderful play going on..... Man I'm not sure why but it really hit me this weekend while watching. Phantom (and Smurf before it) was a unique ride that really helped cement KI for me as a child. I look at Boo Blasters and I just don't see it for my son or anyone else. It's a fun competition ride, and my wife absolutely loves it. But for me...... Meh.... Now get off my lawn, this old guy has to get back to his stories.
  19. Well between Boo Blasters and Scooby Doo it has been almost 12 years? Essentially its the same ride as the one it replaced (Scooby) just with less theme? I will say this, on Sunday I really realized how much KI is missing a family dark ride. My son cannot shoot anything (he is 1) and the ride is a very generic shoot-em-up ride. I dont think we need to get a "thrill" dark ride with a bunch of movement, as then that would ruin the family aspect for the youngins. TBH something like the original Theater or the Smurf Ride (didnt ride it before the Smurfs) where the ride is enjoyed by many of all ages.
  20. Well I mean the youngins could always chant Twitter Facebook Twitter Facebook
  21. Yea it was just weird. I had my credit card and offered to pay. Never open the door by saying "that's included now" because as a customer I could go back next weekend and complain.
  22. Yea I had my credit card out but whatever.... Lol
  23. That's an awfully broad statement you're making there. I understand what you mean by it, but do bear in mind that there also are teenagers who wouldn't steal a basketball and who would have reported the theft the same way you did.I'm not trying to be the PC police, but I think it's unfair to generalize it like that. Most teenagers are not very bright about many different things. Like it or not but most teenagers have very little real world experiences with anything.
  24. I used my meal plan on Sunday and ordered a Coke. I handed the guy my pass and had my Credit card out (to pay for the Coke). He said the drink was now covered on the plan....
  25. I feel that KIC should really just rename them suggested topics haha...
