  1. I'd say that myself if I could actually remember the number or stop being lazy long enough to look it up.
  2. The Fast Lane Plus is a voucher that can be used on any Sunday this season, subject to availability. However, in the past, I believe Platinum Passes were required to be renewed at the park where originally purchased to get the renewal price/benefits. I do not know if that is the same this year.
  3. ^ Yep, that's the Google Maps satellite view. It was indeed taken during one of the smoke incidents, and is now available on Google Maps for all to see. The park can't be happy about that.
  4. They were visible from the AE queue, but I believe they were finally removed during Banshee construction.
  5. There is no ERT on Fridays, but there typically is on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
  6. Interesting. I wouldn't have expected that.
  7. The only seasonal park I know of with free Wi-Fi is Holiday World, but they had a very good reason for installing it in that being such a rural area, data signals are very hard to get there with some carriers, so it was kinda needed. KI doesn't really have that problem, so they have no good incentive to add free Wi-Fi.
  8. Any song I can tune out. Sadly, the last couple of seasons they've been blasting it so loud that I get a headache and often end up leaving early. jcgoble3, who would prefer to have no music at all on the midways or in the queues
  9. Maybe they didn't turn the fog on until later in the night?
  10. I'll do it if you can come on 10/3. See the meetup section. A certain person who posts here will be glad to hear that!
  11. It may be all three. (And I think the Drop Tower issue is that FOF can't launch while DT is being pulled up, not dropping. The brake magnets can't be electromagnets, because if they were, a power failure mid-drop would kill the riders. )
  12. I would. For "double" coasters, one credit for me is defined as the experience of going through the line once, loading, riding, and unloading. If, after that, I have to get off and go around to wait in line again to experience the second half, then it's a separate credit to me, regardless of if it's a single continuous track.
  13. Every cycle. There's just nowhere near enough time to roll the next train forward, load it, check restraints, clear it, and launch it before the previous train stops on the brake run. You will have all three trains sitting in the station (technically, two in the station and one on the final brake run, but that's splitting hairs here) on virtually every single cycle. The only time you wouldn't is if they are only running one or two trains (due to rain, or mechanical problems with one of the trains).
  14. That's normal, and happens on every cycle when all three trains are being run. It happens due to the extremely short length of the ride, and because the train at unload cannot be advanced to load until the launched train clears the first hill (due to the slim possibility of a rollback), which delays loading. As a result, the train that was just launched will return before the next one is launched virtually every time, because the next one cannot be loaded fast enough to be launched before the previous one returns to the station.
  15. Great report, but you left us hanging: what was the gift that your sister had for you?!
  16. Another reason why I always turn grammar checking OFF. Spell checking is useful, but automated grammar checking is a pain in the you-know-what.
  17. Exactly what it says on the tin. Are they two separate credits because of the different type of trains, or one single credit because the track is the same? Let the debate begin! (Yes, I'm a credit whore. )
  18. You guys have me intrigued. I'm now seriously considering buying this in two weeks.
  19. This topic was dead for almost two weeks. Did you really have to bump it?
  20. ^^ * Your 2015 Platinum Pass may fail to work, thereby denying you access to the park on the day of the event. * There could be a water main break early that morning that forces the park to close for two days. * etc.
  21. Very good point. I hadn't even thought about height requirements and how they would apply to an amputee. I don't know how that would work.
  22. Online prices for Fright Lane and Skeleton Key are $40 on Fridays and $50 on Saturdays. There are no discounts for purchasing several at once, except on Saturday, November 1, for which you can currently buy 4 or more at once for $45 each.
  23. Uh, what? What would be on an NBC ride? Sunday Night Football: The Ride? Narrated by Al Michaels? And NBC would go in the Universal parks, not Disney. NBC = Nightmare Before Christmas.
  24. Ah, now I see it! I didn't think to look at the negative space. That is cool!
