So it's not even a local. She's from Tennessee. Cool! -

[...] This being the location of a future Haunt makes the most sense. Given his "cross-threading" remark, and the thread that had just been created at that time, I'm guessing that that was exactly what he was trying to get at.

Ark Bible Park In Kentucky?
jcgoble3 replied to Coasterkidd23's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Here's that quote, stripped of all formatting (Comic Sans? Seriously?): Why is the project so big, and why is a for-profit LLC going to own the Ark Encounter? Because feasibility studies revealed that the Ark would attract 1.6 million guests in the first year—and potentially more in future years, the project was master planned to be much more than just the Ark alone to handle the anticipated crowds. Accordingly, eight additional biblically themed attractions planned in phases for the Ark Encounter complex. Due to the size of the Ark Encounter project, a for-profit LLC structure was selected to be able to help raise the funds necessary to build it. We also desired to avoid financing the project through primarily debt financing. In addition, this large amount of funding would not have been probable solely through donations and boarding pass sales. The for-profit LLC structure allows for the primary funding to come from private equity, while at the same time ensuring that the control of the content, design, and operations of the Ark Encounter will be led by Crosswater Canyon, a wholly owned subsidiary of Answers in Genesis. The for-profit LLC structure also allows the Ark Encounter to be eligible for various economic development incentives that would not have been available with a non-profit structure. -
I voted for Hand2Hand. Not only is the skill level of the two performers amazing, but that girl has to have complete and total trust in the man to not get her killed. Think about the times when he swings here between his legs, with her head just inches off the floor. Then at the end, where he tosses her up and she comes down head first, only to be caught upside down? If he drops her, she lands on her head on a hard floor from about an eight-foot fall. That could easily cripple her for life, if not break her neck and kill her on the spot. That is an amazing level of trust.

USA Today and 10 Best Readers Choice poll

Current leader is Six Flags Magic Mountain, followed by Six Flags Great Adventure. Dollywood is third, Cedar Point fourth, and Hersheypark fifth. -
...and a Coaster Crew Platinum, as opposed to regular, membership is needed there as they require minimum dues of $20/year to qualify as a recognized club.

That means that you've been logged out, or at least it thinks you're logged out (because that forum is not shown unless you're logged in). First, try going to the main "Browse" view and tapping the menu icon in the upper right followed by "Refresh". That usually fixes it for me. If that doesn't work, look around for an option to log in.

Then those are either new, or not at the Xenia Walmart.

I have never seen cargo shorts with zipper pockets at Walmart. In fact, the only pocket closures I've ever seen on cargo shorts at Walmart are Velcro.

The "temporarily closed" sign or the sign with the ride's name?

Two notes on that article: 1. First, the coaster is what's 85 years old according to the article, not Garmonsway. I've met Garmonsway at HoliWood Nights last year, I think, and IIRC he's about the same age as the other two. 2. Second, the woman and her boyfriend (now married) are KICers, though they don't post much on here anymore. I do have them on Facebook, so I'll point them to this thread. -
Honestly, I don't think LR stacks any worse with two trains than The Bat does at KI. LR's ride time is only about 38 seconds from lift crest to brakes, plus about 30 on the lift itself (according to a TPR POV of the coaster on YouTube). That's shorter than even The Bat. So of course you're going to have a train waiting on the brakes for a while, just like The Bat.

I got my current pair at Dick's Sporting Goods. It had one zipper pocket on the left side and a Velcro pocket on the right. I had my grandmother sew a zipper onto the pocket on the right, so now I have zipper pockets on both side. And as a bonus, the shorts are very thin, made of a quick-dry material, and quite comfortable.

Last Friday they were running both trains on Lightning Run, and one train on Thunder Run. Staffing levels were the same, with two ops on Thunder and three on Lightning.

Firehawk does allow fanny packs, but they must be rotated to the side. Banshee indeed does not permit fanny packs.
