I agree that this ride is going to be something HUGE. A long, tall, record breaker. One, they have the horrible disaster that was SOB to put behind them. Two, they have the land and the topography. Three, there is no other ride in the park approaching that 300-400ft size. When you add all the pieces together, it fits to be a 300+ foot tall, 7,000+ foot long coaster, utilizing the terrain to the maximum.

Well, gee whiz. I can only hope that all that transpired hasn't done permanent damage to our relationship with the park. They've already postponed (cancelled) the event we had planned for September. Well done, whomever you are. All involved should be ashamed of themselves. Pure stupidity.

Amen, Shaggy. Very well said, in a way that I could not do it without offending someone. I had no doubt when I first saw the story that she'd wind up being morbidly obese. The "walk of shame" is far better than what happened here.

Never, ever, EVER leave anything of value in the pool area. A thieves paradise. Leave anything of value in your car. Parking over there for ERT at 9am seems silly when walking to the front gate, but is rewarded when hitting the water park after lunch. All your stuff is a 2 minute walk away. All I need in my suit pocket is a single car key (remote stays in the car), passes, and credit card/ID if having an adult pop.

I rode AE on Weds morning. The new ride will abut right up to the existing AE structure. Literally 20-25 feet away. Lots of work going on there.

That would be a great place for a haunt...out of the way, could use year after year. I've wondered why they have not used that for a haunt in the past...guess they didn't need the room. With the old Oktoberfest covering gone, my guess is they will use much of the Cut Throat Cove stuff, and just re-name it.

I know that "we" keep bantering about the name Banshee, but, I cannot help but think that this coaster is going to be named after the Screamin Demon, that once stood quite near the area this will occupy...the first launched loop to operate for the public. What will this coaster be the first to do?

That, and the smaller footers making a circular type pattern to the right of that. I wonder why the KC footers remain? Perhaps if they are keeping the service road there, they will use that for support for some type of cover.

It's only a handful of them...many of them likely the same person (see above). I figured this would happen, given the time of year, the new coaster, etc. My only advice is, as before, do not feed the trolls. And, perhaps a more heavy handed mod would help to clear things up as well. The best way to make a troll go away is to not respond, as that is all they are seeking.

Sounds like a good idea, very poorly executed. Either open up the entire pool, or don't have it at all.

That you could visably see Don't feed the troll...just what BigSexy/YoungStud wants. Plus, if we don't quote the nonsense, the block feature works perfectly. If you DO quote, it fails...lol

At my size (6'6" 240 lbs), I HAVE to basically lock myself in, or else the ride just beats me to death. I have too much legs and torso to fit right, have to squeeze down to fit under the restraint, which puts my knees right at the height of the lip. 5-1 is a great ride. The front, which I still stupidly jump in from time to time, just beats me to death.

I'd wager it's the same person. Don't feed the trolls...I thought the same thing.
