I stopped at the park for a little while today, and saw the Flight Deck line out past the candy vending machine. I have not seen such a line on that ride since it was new. In addition to Diamondback, The Racer and Woodstock Express didn't have the really big lines. Oh, and I noticed on the way out that the scrolling sign out front said the hours were until 8pm, with Soak City until 6pm, and fireworks at 10pm.

asdfjkl is a good way to describe El Toro. I've heard that the Gumball Express train has been rethemed, is that true?
-
The most ridiculous thing a ride operator has told me is to wait until the train comes to a complete and final stop before exiting the ride. Very few of the rides I've been on have ever come to a final stop.

Do we know for sure that a $270 purchase will bring a larger increase in percent than a $27, or even a $2.70 purchase would?

I doubt very many of us know you enough to realize you like to be previously informed that a roller coaster in Florida plays Vertigo and Cyanide. -

rcdb doesn't have the speed for Colossus. On the page for Colossus: Notes: The Heide-Park Soltau website lists the top speed of the Colossos at 120 km/h. This statistic is mathematically impossible if the drop is indeed 48.5 m which could only produce a top speed of about 110 km/h. (68.3 mph) -
I'd like (4) cheese coneys, no onion" plus the plain hot dog. Maybe she thought you were changing your mind in the middle of your order. "I'd like four cheese coneys... No, onion plus the plain hot dog." (just a hot dog with onions).

They do have some country music if you want to do that. I think I read somewhere that some of the codes you can type in will result in nothing played, but I cannot confirm this. If I remember correctly, while the speakers are near the head, they aren't extremely too loud. At least not as loud as the random noise that blasts through the speakers on Bizarro NJ. -

You get to choose the music you hear on Rip Ride Rock It. There is a secret list that you can choose from that has way more songs than the regular screen has. -
http://www.ushsho.co...results2011.htm Like McSalsa said, it would have a 176 ranking. These five rides scored lower than SOB's .0281: Son of Beast (SBNO) Kings Island OH 198 5 173 0 0.0281 The Grizzly Great America CA 140 4 158 1 0.0276 Antelope Gulliver's World UK 30 1 155 5 0.0217 The Bandit Movie Park DE 114 3 160 0 0.0184 Coaster-Express Parque Warner Madrid ES 85 2 160 1 0.0153 Anaconda Walygator Parc FR 77 2 161 0 0.0123 Yep, the bottom has some other RCCA coasters. Also, this is the bottom of the list from 2010, nearly full of RCCA: 175 Magnus Colossus Terra Mitica ES 32 6 168 2 0.0398 13 176 The Bandit Movie Park DE 78 4 167 6 0.0395 8 177 Coaster-Express Parque Warner Madrid ES 53 6 171 0 0.0339 178 Son of Beast (SBNO) Kings Island OH 177 3 172 3 0.0253 179 The Grizzly Great America CA 97 3 175 0 0.0169 180 Anaconda Walygator Parc FR 54 1 172 3 0.0142 * Montezum Hopi Hari BR 0 0 0 0 0.0000 (Edited post to add the 2010 numbers)

SF Fiesta Texas officials seem to disagree with you.

If the tunnel created a scenario where wind could blow in through the exit, the air resistance might slow it down the slightest amount. There might be an extra second or two added to the ride duration that way.

Personally, I do like the Potter franchise. Both times I've gone to IoA, the castle ride was nearly a walk-on, and I thought it wasn't worth the wait. Most other people seem to think it is great though, even non-fans. The building is neat, and has some cool effects and things like that. To describe the ride, I would say imagine the forklift/loader/crane machine thing from the movie Aliens if you can. Now pretend someone is using it to spin you and do things to you while you are also riding Delirium. Also, there is the visual Potter stuff they have you interact with. If you can only ride one side of the dragon coaster, the red side is better. At Busch Gardens Tampa, if I remember right, they have a meal pass that you should get if you will eat twice. $32 for free food and drinks all day. -
Kings Island does still have some ride pins for sale, a ride warrior set and a nostalgia set, (there might be an Action Zone set too, I don't know for sure because I don't have that set, but think I remember seeing them this year.) The thread http://www.KICentral...e-new-ki-merch/ shows examples of some of them. The ones I have don't contain Snoopy's print on the back, so they don't count when this comes to Kings Island? I do know that I don't want to trade the ones I have, unless it is my Firehawk for a rare pin or something similar.

I want to see a giant structure shaped like a snail body behind the Slingshot, and to have snail eyes be placed on top of the Slingshot towers. Inside they could add a restaurant with low salt options, as snails and salt are a bad combination. No, I actually think X-Base into a real area would be nice. After the dinosaurs go away, add rides and attractions. Attach the action theater to the end, but change it to a Planetarium. X-Base is themed to outer space a little, so they could expand on that idea.

Since when do race cars create huge waves of water? I still haven't figured out how race cars and airtime hills go together, but it seems to work for others. Not including actual car rides, I would think a Bayern Kurve or really fast carousel would be some of the very few things that would actually fit.

Today I have noticed new speakers in The Racer station. They are playing different music than the rest of the park, like 50s 60s 70s songs.
-
I see. There is usually a large number of people in X-Base, Coney Mall, Planet Snoopy, Rivertown, International Street, and Action Zone.

You were using Fast Lane and had a twenty minute wait for Magnum? I have rarely seen the regular line much longer than a station wait. Nice report, it sounds like a good time. A decade or so ago, I felt the way you did about Gemini. Now it is one of my favorite rides at the park.
