  1. I've got a few: -Vortex's first drop in the back seat (so much airtime!) -Drop Tower's drop (sometimes it catches me off guard!) -The way TR:TR/Crypt used to rock back and forth before it got going (I always thought this was cool)
  2. I don't remember what seat I was in for the first one, but I think on the second ride I was on the side facing Drop Tower (facing the opposite direction from the station and line).
  3. I rode Delirium twice on Closing Day, and I remember my second cycle being longer and going much higher than the first one. Maybe there are two different cycles?
  4. I think that adding a section that lists Home Park, Favorite KI ride, and First year visiting KI is a great idea!
  5. I think Pineapple Pipeline is amazing. As it says in my signature, my favorite slide of the three is the orange slide. Although the center slide (teal?) is a rush as it has that steep drop, left seems to be the most intense and best for me as you constantly pick up speed in that turn/drop.
  6. I'm pretty sure I dream in color
  7. I'm pretty sure Iron Rattler (Six Flags Fiesta Texas) was in my dream last night; I was slightly above the ride watching a train leave the (uncovered) station with riders and there was a giant Iron Rattler logo sign atop the end of the station (where the ride starts). I remember it doing a slight left turn before the train went out of sight.
  8. I want my first ride to be during the day, but it will most likely not occur on Opening Day.
  9. I was there and had a great time!
  10. I think a water coaster (as in, roller coaster-water coaster (Mack), not water slide-water coaster (Proslide)) would be perfect in Tower Gardens. It could be called "The Expedition" and utilize the waterfall structure for the lift and drop. It could also possibly go inside the waterfall at some point of the ride.
  11. Good stuff; thanks for including me in your trip report- that was a really fun night for me overall, and seeing fellow KICers in Action Zone was just one of the many things that made it great!
  12. Yes, there has: http://rcdb.com/784.htm?p=8595 The Vampire at Chessington World of Adventures (UK) was given floorless cars in 2002. http://rcdb.com/784.htm -information about the ride Picture/link/information courtesy of rcdb.com
  13. My last ride of the season was Flight Deck (I'll always call it Top Gun) last night. Since there are rumors of this being the last season for Flight Deck as we currently know it, I wanted to get all the pictures and good rides in that I could. I rode it three times yesterday and made my final ride in the very front. I've been riding this thing ever since I was little and it was a great way to end the season. I was going to ride Drop Tower after that, but decided not to. Like I've said before, it's been a great season and I know that yesterday definitely ended it on a high note! EDIT: My new KIC profile picture was taken right after that final ride with the train pulling into the break run.
  14. Great trip report and great pictures from an awesome day! I especially thought the sideways Banshee pic (the one after the pic of Delirium from the construction site) and the old King Cobra footer pictures were cool
  15. Great trip report Kat; yesterday was pretty awesome!
  16. Great picture.....so...who is who from left to right, front to back? (and who is the mystery photographer and hands in the bottom left? I don't know everyone but front row L to R is me, ohiocolts, IndyGuy4KI, don't know, don't know, don't know Back row L to R is The Interpreter, Malem, don't know, don't know, don't know, and I think Fire-Beast-OF FEAR lol someone please fill me in on who the don't knows are lol I know the guy next to Malem is BeastForever, and the guy next to the girl who is next to IndyGuy4KI (sorry, I don't know her screen name) is me (MDMC01).
  17. I originally said "Solid", but I'm changing my answer to "Amazing". There were a lot of great parts of the season, including Opening Day, getting hired as a Sweep, the speculation about what is now Banshee, the actual reveal of Banshee, that KIC day in September with the Banshee/Haunt tours, working Haunt, going to Haunt as a guest last Friday (October 18th) and today (Closing Day 2013). Yup, that pretty much sums up this season!
  18. Thank you all for the great Closing Day festivities! :) I love this group and am very glad to be a part of it! :)

  19. I think an El Loco would be cool, but I think that Kentucky Kingdom's new coaster should be this: but a bit longer... it could be called CliffHanger EDIT: According to RCDB, a basic Skyloop (XT-150) (the ride pictured above, Abismo, is an XT-450) is $4,000,000 which is less than the new coaster's approximate cost and if the park went with an XT 450 (or something bigger), it might be just a bit more expensive. 20. I went last Friday night and I was correct in heeding prior advice that told me to get to the park early. I've noticed that Slaughter House fills up pretty quickly, so get to it early if you'd like to do it. And on recommendations on Haunts, I'm not the best guy to ask as I haven't done many mazes and I'm not a huge fan of getting scared, but I did do Slaughter House this year and enjoyed it. I've also done Tombstone Territory in the past (3 years ago) and it wasn't too bad.
  21. I didn't realize the dive loop was nearly done; Banshee sure is coming together!
  22. I left Haunt about an hour ago and had a great time. Rode a bunch of rides (including Vortex, Xtreme Skyflier and Adventure Express- all at night) and got to see our own Sam the Butcher (Gator) at Slaughter House.
  23. Since I've only seen 7th Portal and SpongeBob, I voted for SpongeBob because I think it's a great 3D film I remember watching 7th Portal but I don't remember what I thought of it... EDIT: I just watched the 7th Portal video posted and it looked cool (especially the music); unfortunately, the video doesn't bring back memories as I know that I watched it, but don't remember much of it...
  24. When I think Cincinnati, I think of the zoo and the city skyline (not Skyline Chili, but how the city skyline looks from afar). Although I'm not much of a sports fan, the Reds and the Bengals are both Cincinnati traditions that also come to mind when I think of the city.
  25. I've seen a few skunks when I worked as a sweep this season. I distinctly remember seeing two close to the Boo Blasters exit and saw one on the RPW (Rivertown Potato Works) patio.
