  1. I'd like to the rights of a cartoon's or T.V. Show's or even a feature film's rights acquired and used in a nice dark ride, I would accaully like either a indoor log ride, and I think they could just redo Boo Blasters, They could some real theming in there.
  2. I have two, one about myself and the other about one who brought the other one upon me, so here I go. The first is taking place at Islands of Adventure in Florida, we were in like for... We were standing in the singles line, and this kid walked up behind me and my friends. He seemed to look younger than us. He looked extremely nervous and was wiping his sweaty palms on his pants, he was looking up at the ride as it shot up. So I had been on this many of occasions, so I being the kind soul that I am, I decided to try and encourage him. I began to say how "I know it looks scary, but you should just power through it, because when once you've get off, you will want to want to ride it over and over again". It was the same spiel I'd given to others in line including my friends. I went on and on about it for like 5-10 minutes, and he was nodding and such. Finally we were all assigned the same row, number 3, left tower. And I know I said we were in the singles, and yes there was a long line but my friends and I had been there many times, this was like the 9th time, so the ride op assigning seats new us, I guess and was kind enough put us all in the same row. So the kid stood there kind of hesitating. And I "come on" and waved him over, he reluctantly followed me. We all stood over waiting for the doors to open. Scott whispered in my ear "He doesn't speak English", and I'm like what, yeah of course he does, he understood all of my awesomely encouraging words. I then looked over at Aaron and he nods. So I ask "English?" he shakes his head. All of my friends laugh. But then the doors open and we ride, I tried to be encouraging and such with out using English, more gesturing than speaking, he got in the seat. He wasn't big enough to pull the restraint down so I helped him pull it down. I then hopped up into my seat, and fastened my restraint. We began to rise and the fog was pumped out. I looked over at him and he look back over at me, we had one of those "We don't speak the same language but we totally connect" moments as he smiled back at me. I than placed my head against the back of the head rest and we launched. As we bounced up and down I looked over at him and he had the largest smile, it made me smile. I gave him a thumbs up and gave me one right back. I helped push up his restraint and we walked back out the exit together. It was really embarrassing but it is still a memory I love, because that kid and I really seemed to make a connection, and was really fun. Even though I didn't hear the end of it until the plane touched the runway in Columbus. Secondly, my friends and I we at the haunt couple of years ago, and my friend Scott, yes the one as mentioned above, who is kind of young. But, anyway he was going around to all of the monsters walking around and saying like "High Five!!!" or "High Five???". Some would oblige but than others would like do that turning of the head, and creepy stare. But he went up to this guy behind the restroom behind Invertigo, he was like African American, and smoking and just seemed very Erie. Scott went "What are you supposed to be?" He looked up at him, very slowly. Then came the "High Five?!?" then man than stood up, slowly again. My dad swooped in and saved the day with, "Hey, lets go ride Invertigo". We than had a lovely time on Invertigo.
  3. I have typically been going to Kings Island and Cedar Point and it really paid for itself, but next year we are possibly seeking an expansion towards hitting up Canada's Wonderland, and Kings Dominion. King Dominion is a little more out there, but I'm looking forward to Canada's Wonderland.
  4. Because it is all they're giving us, and it something to get excited over, I mean is there anything too get hyped over?
  5. Maybe Mr Ouimet will attempt to acquire the rights to certain franchise and it will be themed towards that.
  6. Here is the calendar for Knott's Berry farm. Your platinum should get you in.
  7. I guess I walked right into that one, but if anyone knows when they will be able for purchase please let me know. And is it true that on labor day are Season passes cheapest, even for renewal?
  8. Season Passes will go on sale soon, who will be purchasing or renewing their pass, will you be upgrading at all, downgrading? I would like to know when exactly when they on sale for renewal if anyone knows. I for one will be renewing my Platinum Pass, along with the rest of my family. So what are you guys doing, and please awnser my question if you can.
  9. My gym teacher, last year, well her husband worked on Son of Beast.
  10. Sarcasm doesn't really convey that well over the internet does, it. hmmm, check it out now.
  11. Well you certainly seem to be acting like a moderator to me! And besides, some of us mods are busy working one or two jobs. I know I have been busy at my current job working on some exciting projects. No need to chastise us moderators. On the subject at hand, I rarely ride Mean Streak when I go to Cedar Point. Same goes for Mantis. There are other rides I would much rather go on and wait in line for than those attractions. That post was in no way meant to chastise the mods. I was going through the three topics we had with the intent of showing the OP to do a better job looking for other similar threads first and to place topics in the correct places. I realize real life jobs get in the way of this one, but letting two similar topics co-exist for 2+ weeks with at least 4 mods that I know of is a bit too much in my opinion. Nevertheless, the point of the post post was to send a message to new posters, not to chastise the mods. Sorry if it came across the wrong way. Also, my last sentence was meant to come across as a suggestion. Again, I'm sorry if you felt I was chastising you, I'm not very good at wording things online. Real life talks are much easier. I'm just going to point out something to you if you haven't noticed yet. Not that I don't agree with you.
  12. If you don't like threats about B&M don't click on them. In my opinion.
  13. You can add me too that list. If you don't respect the ways and rules of these forums I certainly won't give you any and I doubt anyone else will either.
  14. You would pick Jr. Gemini over Diamondback because it is an Intamin and not a B&M.
  15. Wait so you can see into the future?Witchcraft, burn it, burn it with fire. Don't have to look into the future, it would just explain why there is now a Banshee at Kings Island. Is everyone else just as confused with what seems to be Tr0y's logic as I am, or is it just me? Did you watch the video interview about Banshee in the construction thread that I had with Don? He stated that there would have been a major coaster coming to KI in 2014 regardless of SOB's fate. Wait Logic, that made me Crack up.
  16. Wow shortest trip report I have ever read. But you seemed to do pretty well for only an hour, did you have fun?
  17. Wow, my dad goes on and on, about how when he used to work there, Labor day was about as crowded as it gets, so he refuse to take me then. But, now, thanks to this thread I may be able to convince him to take me, and finally take over the tri-state area.
