Yelling at ride ops??
Well once someone is over 48" they can start to ride more rides outside of Planet Snoopy without an adult and that is a distinction...

Gravity - Kings Island Theater 2018
Exactly!!! What he says Gravity lacks, such as the lack of as daring acts as Cirque du Soleil, where present in Imagine and Origins, and much more so than what we have in Gravity. In fact, many of the performers from previous shows are performing their exact routine (or some variation) right now in Cirque du Soleil shows around the world. In fact, half of the Cirque du Soleil shows currently playing in Vegas have performers from our previous Imagine and Origins seasons... However, he is correct in that these shows are a mini version of a Cirque du Soleil show and KI patrons should recognize the talent and abilities of these true professionals, some of which sign short term Cirque du Soleil contracts so that they can do a regional show like this in the summer. We get to see roughly 25 minutes of a Cirque du Soleil show for the price of KI admission (or entry with a season pass). It is a great deal. They bring to KI a type of show that many patrons will not be able to afford to see as a Cirque du Soleil show.

Yelling at ride ops??
Because Planet Snoopy has 6 rides that you have to be under 54" to ride - once she reaches 54", she can no longer ride those, but then can ride the 4 rides that you must be over 54" to ride...

Yelling at ride ops??
^And it is parents like that why some parks or specific rides will not allow a too short person in line with their family. Because of a parent's lack of being a responsible adult now means that rule abiding families have to either split up and one stays behind while the others go in line or they just don't ride. Plus it should be a requirement that anyone shorter than 54" should be required to have a height wrist band so that ride-ops have an easier time assessing this.

Patron injured on Twisted Timbers from flying cell phone
I think nothing is done (other than not having staff to do it) because they don't want negative FB reviews of someone saying their pass was revoked because they had their phone out. Personally I think the bad press of a serious injury or death is worse, but until such event happens, countless selfies and videos will continue to be posted from on rides... Metal detectors at each ride will end up being the solution if it isn't got under control by other means...

People suffer from NIMBY syndrome - let's hope the ride op was in error - let's hope that CF would fight that if it were true...

Patron injured on Twisted Timbers from flying cell phone
^exactly what I have been saying for years - and the smile on their face is probably because they were being told to put it away when the photo was being taken...oh wait we know people never listen... It would probably never happen, but enough injuries and maybe it will, but anyone posting illegal pics/videos they took should have their pass revoked. Any good attorney will scour CF social media and other posts to prove their argument that CF allows and encourages said behavior...

Patron injured on Twisted Timbers from flying cell phone
And how many times do we hear a ride op over the speaker say "if you are sitting on a handrail please get down". They have to repeat several times because nobody pays attention.

Patron injured on Twisted Timbers from flying cell phone
I have said this before, but does a retweet by a CF park like Kings Island of a patron selfie post on a coaster that someone posted imply that CF is okay with cameras out on the ride despite the announcement and postings? Or simply spend 10 minutes next to a lift hill on a coaster and hear the ride op over the speakers inform the patron to put away the cell phone and they do not put it away and the ride is not stopped and the patron continues with the video. I am sure an attorney would make good use of that argument when a suit is filed at some point for a flying camera disfiguring someone. Otherwise why have the rule if it isn't enforced? Now I realize that according to the offender, he claims he forgot to zipper his pocket. Why wasn't policy to keep everyone on that train "captive" for witness statements and stuff. I cannot believe nobody held on to that phone to get offenders name and simply gave it back and let him continue with his day... But as we have seen in the industry, real change only seems to happen after an event and lawsuit. I would expect in the upcoming weeks to see a stronger enforcement of the phone policy. One questions what they will do at rides like Banshee and Mystic where I have seen them physically hand something back to the patron (cell phones, glasses, etc.) to hold in their hand while they ride the ride - that is a recipe for disaster - I suspect we will see those patrons not allowed to ride now.. I have seen plenty of people holding cell phones on Mystic - not taking photos, but holding onto them because they had no place to put it. Do we see metal detectors at ride entrance... Will this be spread to all coasters... Time will tell... And to those that have posted that any object is moving with coaster and won't really hurt anyone riding same train forgets about air resistance and once object leaves person it becomes a projectile - just look at that forehead... Unfortunately, patrons totally tune out ride ops, or any other announcement (looking at you smokers not in designated area as the announcement is made). Spend a few minutes at Twisted Timbers or Steel Vengeance and watch how many people pull down their lap bar despite repeated attempts told not to. Granted for whatever reason that doesn't happen at Steel Vengeance as often as it does on Twisted Timbers.

Gravity - Kings Island Theater 2018
Well year one cirque imagine cast changes were solely due to injury. Year two cirque imagine we had everyone beginning to end (some did miss a few shows to injury but no replacements). Origins is a different story, especially year one where almost everyone changed, well it seemed like it lol. Year two origins didn't change as much as year one, but certainly had its fair share of change outs not due to injury, as well as an injury change out.

I was going to post I am surprised nobody recognized a familiar face and was going to wait for the show to run a week or so before mentioning it, but in re-reading this thread I see you did notice it! For those that haven't, hurry before he disappears soon...

Gold Pass extended through July 4th
I have received several BOGO offers on my app this year - and I was on data not KI wifi...now part of the issue may be that in the past, the offer would actually "notify" you of its existence (kinda notify like a text message), but in this app, you have to physically select the messages and offers feature in the app (bell looking thing top right corner), so that could be why you missed it? My comment above about the BOGO was from personal experience when at home at 11:30pm and I had a BOGO pretzel offer that showed expiring in 30 minutes, which I chuckled because the park had closed at 10pm lol.

Gold Pass extended through July 4th
^Simply a bug in the app - every notification you receive is going to expire at the end of the day (midnight) - if you got a buy one pretzel get one free offer in the app and look right now (at the present time) and it will be saying expiring in the next hour and some minutes, when obviously it has already expired since park is closed! The Peanuts thing says expiring today too - go to the park tomorrow and the gold pass and Peanuts thing will show up again with an expiration time of midnight...

And many people speed everyday and don't get pulled over. I am sure you will not get out of a ticket by telling the officer "I have sped on this route to KI over a 100 times and not once got pulled over so I assumed it was ok". Not picking on you, but just like laws, at different times and with different personnel, different policies are enforced or concentrated on more than others. Doesn't make any of the policies less important. I suspect that they probably had one too many people get past the front attendant this season with a bag or drink cup or something so they were instructed to police the no loose article policy a little more stringent.

Kicked Out Of KI
These are the same parents that would sue in the event their kid was harmed on said ride... I know people that have stuffed their kids shoes to meet a height requirement and then I ask them well if you little girl got thrown from the ride would you then sue and they are like D@#M Straight I would" Our society has degraded to the point that most do not want to accept responsibility for their actions. I bet most that have been kicked out of KI or elsewhere wouldn't have been kicked out had they simply obeyed the request after the "violation" was pointed out to them. What a sad society commentary when someone is smoking in line and anyone (whether it be another visitor, employee, or security) kindly reminds/informs them there is no smoking in line and they go off and say they will smoke wherever they please.
