As I posted in another thread, I really don't find it rough at all, even the brown train in the back seems ok to me. I realize everything is relative, and rough to one is not to another. I won't say it's as smooth as it was in years past, but I really don't think it's shuffling so bad it's scrubbing speed.

We rode it all over Saturday, even got MrsNC to ride 1-1 Never made it all the way to the back, but we did make it to car 6, brown train, and it just didn't seem all that bad to me.

Went through Madame Fatale's and Club Blood this evening. Madame Fatale's, we all thought was good, my poor KIC shirt may never be the same from Mrs NoChickens death grip pulling on it, lol. Club Blood was lame. Backwoods Bayou was quite nice, again the shirt got a couple tugs. Edit: grammatical repairs

If you get it online you can show receipt/printout for free parking. If your getting them at the gate, no. Everyone would just say they're buying passes at the gate to avoid parking fees, lol. This is my understanding anyway. Edit: Getting ready to head that way ourselves, see ya there, maybe.

Seems logical enough to me, put the top of the loop on like a cap. I think it would be harder to thread the track though the loop if it was in place first. Needless to say I've not built one in the real world.

When we went Friday Aug. 23rd, got on Diamondback with a couple guys Mrs.NC works with. As we dropped down the second hill we could see objects in the air, about the time someone yelled "change!!" what I believe was a nickel bounced off my sunglasses. I was quite happy that I had them on, as the impact was quite noticeable. I can only guess how bad it would have hurt without them.

Mrs. NC usually has our backpack on FoF. Earlier this season I happened to carry it on. Lack of experience with this situation made me think i could place it between my legs then close restraints. I was wrong, thankfully a quick ride op relieved me of this cargo and the train left with no delay.

When someone says roller coaster, I can't name a specific picture that comes to mind. It is usually a flood of images, some very old, some quite recent, that flow into my mind.

Maybe he just wanted off? lol

My current favorite meal in the park is the Brat with 'kraut and German potato salad, at the Bier Garten.
