  1. Surprised we didn't have reports of a new yellow slide in Soak City.
  2. You might as well believe it, I'm sure it's really there. And as for who cares? KI's Accountants, and Krafts PR department. It helps the park make some extra cash, that deflects costs being sent to the consumer. At that point, I care to, wheel in the Weinermobile next to it and call it lunch land !!
  3. Welcome to KIC!! What XGatorHead said ;-) caught it before posting atleast, lol
  4. Not a bad seat on the ride IMO. I've got 15 rides in, have rode every row, and while the front center, and back outside do stand out a little more than others, it's fantastic everywhere. The zero G roll and the inline twist from the front center seats, along with the view are awesome. The forces felt in the back are great as well. But I'd happily ride any seat on the train.
  5. Row 9 painted on floor, car 5 row 1 :-)
  6. Going to make for some very hard decisions later in the season when night rides must be chosen wisely.
  7. Tough decision, I love The Beast, but I voted Diamondback. Edit: And Vortex, The Bat, The Racer, Adventure Express.........
  8. ^ same here, still working at it but any help would be appreciated !! http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/RickMcIntosh/screamforakidagain
  9. Wait for full load X Minimum wait time 10 seconds Maximum wait time 120 seconds
  10. Better late than never, finally got enough to register. http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/RickMcIntosh/screamforakidagain Now to get busy with fundraising. As everyone else has said, feel free to help.
  11. As I remember, Vortex was also a record breaker when debuted. And after checking, Wikipedia agrees (notice I did not say confirms). " Vortex debuted as the tallest, full-circuit roller coaster with the highest drop in the world. It was also the first to feature six inversions." Edit: I only remembered the inversions record.
  12. They just reported on Fox59, the Indiana Supreme Court has rejected hearing the case.
  13. Season goals? I don't really have any. I just go because I love going. This park holds so many memories, I am always just happy to be there.
  14. A bad, aka "B" movie, hosted by Elvira would be fine with me
  15. Right click the image, and then select open image in a new tab.
  16. Also "back in the day" if someone had seen any child crossing said lines, they would not have hesitated to grab them by the back of the shirt and pull them back. Most likely with a stern talking to. Long gone are the days of community child rearing.
  17. Monday and no package as yet. Guess an e-mail is in order.
  18. Not to mention blistered feet for those of us that didn't understand just how wet, wet could be!! That ride made me go to the park in sandals for years. My kids loved it, so I had to ride, even when I didn't really want to.
  19. Not mad, a bit disappointed that after time and again being asked to do a simple process of respecting a trademark, you have to press the issue. The park, the administrators, and the community itself have asked for this simple respect. Why some have to rebel against such a simple request is beyond me.
  20. Thanks for this opportunity, I am now a member of 2 coaster clubs
  21. I had the privilege of riding it a quite a few times, and yes, it was one fun ride.
